Paraparaumu

Earthquake in the middle of the night. But we slept thru it all.
Went to see how the equestrian centre I was a part of getting started many years back was going. It has turned into a very big equestrian complex with covered arena, show jumping arena, playground, great gardening and lots of space for the 11 horses. Can't believe the work and money they must have put in to get this flash place like this. Well done to Lyn, Glenn and Catharina.
The kids tried vaulting on one of the pony's, played at the playground, watered the covered arena and went on a ride on the beach to a local cafe where Kevin went on a swing  and we had a coffee before heading back to the club.
Then we took the chance of going around our good friend Caron 's place and just knock on the door. Perfect timing coz the door was open and Caron was the person coming to meet us. The reaction was fantastic and it was so great to catch up again. Her very kind partner Palmer helped Daniel to get in contact with a good tattoo studio and all of a sudden they got some other guy to move their tattoo time a couple of days later so that Daniel could get the possibility to get a Maori tattoo before leaving NZ. Won't say exact when, but there'll soon be a marking for life on Daniel's shoulder!
Nice dinner at night with Cat, Danny, Lyn, Glenn and good John from Auckland.
