What a weekend

Friday with Swedish crayfish as starter and Norwegian whale as main together with lovely friends at their wonderful house in the forest (surounding you could die for!) Went out late to lay out baskets along the Creek trying to catch some more crayfish. Stayed the night at their camp and collected 6 kg crayfish in the morning before breakfast together.
Unfortunately we had top leave early as we had a surprise-day for one of our best friends, Tobbe, who turned 40 earlier this week. He thought he was on his own all weekend while we girls went on a girly weekend. But instead we took him and his family for a day filled with activities. Three families had a fantastic day together!
Then on Sunday after breakfast at home Kevin was of work grandma to try glass fusion for the second time while the rest of us had Olivers birthday party with his friends to take care of. He had wished for a beach-horse-surf-bbq-marshmellows-party. So he got! For four hours by the beach he had a ball with his friend and all above.
Now we all need five weekdays to be ready for another weekend! ;-)

Olivers birthday present from grandparents in Malmö

  

For two days it was time to cash in the birthday present Oliver got from grandparents in Malmö; a visit to the funhouse Busfabriken. And as bonus so much more which I know Oliver love and appreciate so very much.
And this morning even Kevin admitted that when little brother is not at home he miss him a little. ;o)

Girls night in the Sound

 

Best friends, shrimps, wine (not for the skipper of course) and a magic sunset. A little windy when we first went out, but it just got calmer and calmer and we were very lucky to be able to enjoy such a spectacular sunset together with maaaany sailing boats and just the sound from the water around us. LOVELY!

Canoeing

 

8 families gathered today for a canoeing-/ wilderness- weekend!

A bit chaotic when 10 canoes, all luggage, all kids and not the least all the adults was getting ready at the same time. But of we went and with some wind and current we had to work hard for the 2 hours it took to get to the camp. But had the most fantastic first night with campfire-de-lux, happy people and the most spectacular sky I've ever seen. We saw more stars, satellites and shooting start than we've ever seen before.
With good weather, sunbathing and a forest filled with blueberries we had a fantastic weekend together. With so many kids they all found some friend to play with. And I didn't hear anyone asking for Ipad or TV.......

 

Oliver's 5th birthday party with family

  
Our little Oliver is now 5 years old and we celebrated this with our closest family. A sunny day make it possible to have BBQ and to be outdoor all night long which was very nice. Tried a new Nutella Semifreddo-cake which was to die for!
In the end we found the Berg-Brothers in our bed, picture above - happy but totally exhausted!

Carrotcake and Röstånga

 

Our own little chef made a carrot cake today. He's so good in the kitchen! As the sun was out for the first time this Summer we decided to go to Röstånga Camping and let the kids have fun with the waterslide at the same time as we got to see our favourite friends Ann & Tobbe which got a taste of our cake!
