Celebrated Walpurgis with great friends and family at our place. Champagne, BBQ, bonfire and then coffee and cake. Great night with beautiful weather!

Waiting room

 

Oliver seems fever free today, but with a new tooth in his mouth! Some people say new teeth can give fever.
Kevin only spent 2 hours with his friends at day-care today since we had a time with his doctor in Lund. Nothing serious at all, but because our insurance company doesn't want to insure him due to some diarrhoea he had during summer 2 years ago. Now we just needed a doctor to write a letter stating the fact that he no longer has any stomach problems what so ever. That was what we got! Great. Lets hope it's enough for the insurance company too.
Then I'd promised Kevin lunch at McDonalds. Ironic, or tragic depending how you see it, to try to have lunch together with two kids on your own. Went to the toilet three!!! times, angry baby because I tried to get something to eat. I was very proud of myself for handling this long lunch with self-control and calmness:-)
Got home to a waiting Klas who had cookies for the afternoon coffee with him. Very nice with both his company and the cookies!
More spontaneous visitors today; Daniels parents. Who helped out with kids and garden so we got much done. Thanks allot for that! No-one had any problems falling asleep tonight after a very social and efficient long day.

Fever

Little Oliver got fever today. Means we'll have a slow evening.

Easter 2011

I can’t believe what a fantastic Easter this year has offered. Absolutely fantastic weather and great company. Today wasn’t an exception. Just as nice as the other days, if not better if possible. Family Berg went downtown Olofström which turned out to be a quick walk considered that Olofström is about 5 stores!! A very small town, but I must say with great laid back atmosphere. Had lunch in town before heading back to the camping site. But Kevin wanted to go for a walk in the forest to look for insects. So that’s what we did! Found all sorts of insects including lizards! Then had a beautiful Easter dinner with Lena and Håkan. First with herring and salmon, then with BBQed chicken. Kevin almost fell asleep during dinner.Hope you’ve all had a just as fantastic Easter as we have!!

Good Friday

Another beautiful day which we’ve fully enjoyed! Daniel went for a 9km run that ended up being over 17km long due to that he got really lost! First Håkan had to go looking for him in the forest, then when I took Oliver and biked towards the forest they called and said that he’d found his way back. Phu… many scary scenarios went through my head. Lucky he had “just” got lost. Then we played in the sand by the lake until Johanna, David, Sofie and Rickard came and joined us for dinner that Lena and Håkan made. Nice as always! During sunset we brought our fishing gear and went fishing. Lots of activity in the lake, but nothing that was to keen on what we were throwing in the water.

Olofström

First full day at the camping site in Olofström. Fantastic summer weather with sun, high temperature, no wind and mirror-like lake just 20m from our campervans. These conditions made it easy for everyone to have a great day and fully enjoy our first tour in our new campervan. Håkan and Lena made nice breakfast which we enjoyed before going grocery shopping. Then the Håkan, Daniel and Kevin went fishing. Oliver and I prepared sausages and bread on the BBQ that we carried over to where the fishermen were standing. Then we just relaxed and enjoyed each others company until I decided I'd go for a run. The surroundings seem extremely nice and I just couldn't resist going for a run. I started a 6,5km track which ended up being a 9km run because I got lost! The track was absolutely fantastic and the hilly conditions made it a big challenge to complete. But Daniel had put his running clock on my arm which reminded me every time I went slower then 5:50min/km. Sooo irritable, but the competitive person I am I had to run faster then what it was programmed to - no matter how tired I was!!;o)Whole day of fresh air and wonderful company I now have three very happy and tired boys and two extremely tired legs. Won’t have any problem sleeping tonight!

Easter in our campervan

Started this years Easter a little earlier with our campervan. Went to a camping site by a lake in Olofström where we'll be spending a long Easter weekend. We have 20m to the lake and they have promised warm and sunny weather. So we cant ask for anything else. We'll just lean back and relax with this champagne!

Businesstrip

I'm of on my first businesstrip this year. To England! I've just said goodbye to the rest of the family. And I must admit it felt a little awkward. I have hardly left home since August last year when I started my maternity leave. And now the first trip away is for three days, to Pergo's office in England. But I trust the kids will love Daniels company instead of mine for a while.

Worlds best Anna

 

What a day! What a friend my dear Anna is! Was on the loo when Anna threw in a note of things to pack! Then we left husband and kids and home and went away. Being kidnapped is so much fun! First stop was the local café where she served me latte and a cake. Then of to a spa where relaxing, a bodyscrub and lunch was waiting. I was in heaven!
My very dearest friend Anna, you're simply the best! You understand exactly what a parent to small kids are going through and by kidnapping me and giving me this luxury you've not only given me energy enough for another couple of month, you've taken our friendship to another level! Thank you so very much!

Morning run

 

Drove to the forest to Family Olssons cosy place so that Daniel and Robban could run their 10km like last weekend. They had the best weather conditions, but it was to early in the morning so the time was slightly slower then last. Still very well done!
Maria and I had a nice cup of coffee while watching the kids play.

Perfect Friday

 

A dizzy Friday turned out to be sunny and warm. We did some grocery shopping in the morning and then was hanging around outdoor in the garden barefoot all day. The kids were in fantastic mood so therefore I was too! We played, giggled, enjoyed the sun and just had a great time.
You also get a hint of a product which will make life much easier for us in the future.;-)

Visit @ work

 

Visiting work. Here Oliver is helping my boss at an ATM. I have a challenging job to come back to in August. More responsibility, in charge of 4 more girls, 3 more countries to deal with.... But I had to remind them to match the added responsibility with added salary. Funny they hadn't thought about that! Or were they just hoping I wasn't gonna bring it up. Probably the last:-( Sneaky!
Since I got home later then expected, Klas picked up Kevin from day-care today. This is what was waiting for me when I came to get him. Yam!
Today at dinner Kevin couldn't stop laughting when Oliver made funny faces and noises! These two brothers will for sure laugh allot together! (between the fights that is!)

Wii bowling

Dinner in Furulund. Nice fish with potatoes! Afterwards Kevin, Klas challenged me in Wii bowling. I lost big time:-( Klas and Kevin totally ruled!
Big happening tonight was that we drove home our campervan. The first campervan trip is getting very close now. We cant wait!

Handball

Feeding the ducks

Another nice and warm day. We had to go for a walk. Went to feed the ducks what our old bread. We had a quick picnic by the riverside before heading home again for some lunch.

Cinnamon bun

 

Kevin got a ride home in this big truck. He was so proud! What's with boys and big machines?!
Then Sofie And Rickard came with newly baked cinnamon buns that we enjoyed on a blanket in our garden. We also got Lena, Håkan and Felix company. Always nice with friends and family around!

What a day!

What a day today turned out to be. A quick riding lesson became a full day outdoor filled with sun, bbq, ice-cream and great people!

Family Olsson

 

Best afternoon/evening with family Olsson who lives in the forest half an hour away. Picnic in their garden in the sun with home baked bread. Then the guys went for a 10km run in 52min. A new record for Daniel! Well done! While they were running Maria and I went for a walk with the juniors.
We enjoyed a nice dinner together before we drove back home with two very tired boys in the back.
Looking forward already to next time we meet the Olsson's!

Another sign of Spring

Guest instructor

Last Saturday I had the privilege to be asked to come as a guest instructor to Hälsomagasinet in Svalöv who was arranging a Marathon day filled with classes. I started the day with a PUMP-like class together with around 20 people. I had a ball and the positive comments after the class made me even happier and inspired! Thanks Annelie for asking me to come to Svalöv, thanks for borrowing this picture and thanks to all the great people for giving it all during 60 minutes with me last Saturday. I hope your Monday wasn't too painful!! ;o)

New wash machine

Finally our new wash machine has arrived. A week without being able to wash any clothes isn't fun with two kids! You can just imagine what we'll be doing on our Friday night!?

IKEA

At IKEA with Karolina and her son Hugo. Nice breakfast for 10kr and a few cups of coffee gave us enough energy to do some shopping. Mainly small things for Kevin and Oliver's room.

Visiting the doctor

Oliver had to visit the doctor today as he has been breathing heavily, been coughing and now got red dots all over his upper body. We were pleased when he didn't confirm asthma like Kevin, but instead thought it was a virus that effected his airways. We got some medicine and some simple treatment plan to follow. Lets hope he get better very soon so that the last 2 sleepless month can become history.

Running

Today these shoes went for a run. Oliver sound asleep in the trolley. Running seems to be the worst activity to get back in shape with. Because it's hard work it also mean it's not that fun. I guess I'm lucky to be extremely stubborn and wont give up until I've found the shape.

Why sit when you can stand?

Our hiding place the last couple of Mondays has been on the country side at Mariett's place. Thanks to her and her two horses I'm slowly getting back into my riding shape. 
Kevin has a ball when playing with Maja and we all love the atmosphere on this farm with there fantastic people.

Jumble sale

After cleaning out everything from our attic we had a car filled with stuff we'd decided that we wanted to get rid off. But since many things were nice and tidy things we didn't want to drive right to the recycling station with it. Instead we went to the boot-jumble-sale in Lund with Anna and Uffe who also had stuff they wanted to get rid of.  
Even if we only sold our things for a few kronor per thing, we got 1264 kr during the three hours we stood there. Only had to drive to the recycling station with some ugly glasses, old picture frames and a computer keyboard. What a win-win situation today was. We have much more space in our attic, we got some extra money and our old thing is being appreciated by its new owner!
Thanks to grandma and Klasen who saved our kids from having to come with us to the fare.
The afternoon/evening was spent with Family Axelsson/Svensson at our place. All kids played and had a great time while the rest of us enjoyed a good dinner, healthy dessert and coffee.

BBQ

 

Fine BBQ with Chrille and Ida tonight. Wonderful dinner with chocolate fondue as dessert.

The present which was suppose to get here in time for Kevin's birthday last week was finally delivered and assembled today!!
