Soccer game in Klågerup

Three soccer games in one day in Klågerup with nice weather, great team spirit and as always fantastic coaches.
Rounded of the day with shopping at Emporia before heading home for a relaxing Saturday.

Summer planning

 

Summer planning with Fam Ericssons with sun, BBQ, happy kids and Rom. We all agreed (or according the Emil and Daniel the women told them what we agreed on!) on a 2 days forest walk with one night in a windshield in a nature reserve area 1½ half hour up north. Will be fun!

Day-care get together

Everyone from day-care got together this afternoon for a picnic and to thank our teachers for taking well care of our kids. Warm sunny day made this a wonderful Wednesday evening.

All kids singing night at school

All kids in Kevin's age sang for all parents tonight. It was so impressive to see and hear them so synchronized. No wonder one of the teachers had tears in her eyes, so did I. A whole year has gone by and all kids have grown so much.

Hours in the pool

Grandma picked up the kids early from day care/school today. Hours in there pool followed!!! The Summer is finally here. And it's a pleasure for a mothers heart to see that Kevin and Oliver can do something together and there's laughter rather than tears. Could it be that they're growing up??? NOOO!!

Kalvin Knatet

Running race premier for Kevin and Oliver today. "Kalvin knatet" in Malmö. 400m for Oliver and the double for Kevin.

It was the worst possible weather condition with heavy rain all day, but nothing stops real athletes with keen parents;-) They did very well and were extremely proud after finish line and the whoooooole evening. They even wanted to sleep with the medal still around their neck!

Thanks Grandma and grandpa for enrolling the boys to this event, for the support all day and not the least the BBQ followed.  

Soccer

 

The only good thing about being woken up early in the weekend mornings is that you have plenty of time to do things. Today I boiled egg, baked seed-bread and made pancakes for Kevin and Oliver's day by the soccer field most of the day today. Kevin have never has as many people shearing for him as today when his whole family + grandma and grandpa from Malmö + Lena and Johanna was there to watch him play. But nothing was inspiring for Kevin today who was hardly running at all!! Being a mum who find it hard to not give 200% in everything you're in I was struggling to be proud today. But the weather was very good, I got to see some family member which I don't see very often and most important; Kevin didn't seem to worry to much. I decided to be handle the situation the same way.
BBQ for lunch in the garden, moving my cucumber, tomatoes, spinach and pepper plants outdoor and jumping on the trampoline before heading to Furulund for another BBQ and rose by the pool!!

Friday relax

 

Grandma picked up the kids early afternoon to go and buy new soccer shoes to both boys. Very proud they were playing soccer in the garden most of the evening while we prepared chicken on the BBQ which resulted in a very nice dinner together. A very good and relaxing way of rounding of this week together with dear family members. Kevin fell asleep in the sofa in between Klasen who was massaging his head and grandma who was massaging his calf. Who wouldn't fall asleep there?!

Rhubarb jam

I was alone with the kids tonight while Daniel went to the gym early to buy some additional accessory for our hen house on the way. After dinner we harvest the first rhubarbs and with the help of my two little chefs we made homemade rhubarb jam!!
Tonight we also watched pieces of Titanic. Kevin have been asking thousands of questions about this little boat and its history so I simply had to watch the movie together with him. Knowing Kevin this will only make more question keep coming. Every one around him better read about the history so we can answer all the questions.

School singing stars

Big spotlights and speakers and singing and dancing kids!! That was the night of Kevin's school Sing- and Dance night. They have been practicing allot and were excited and did so very well!! They sang and danced Diggilo Diggiley!!
Fam Ericsson and Möttus stayed for a coffee/chat afterwards.

Fishing and Spring-market

Finally the long waiting for Kevin is over and this weekend is THE weekend where he is going fishing a whole weekend with grandma and grandpa. Alone!! Crap weather didn't stop him, only made grandpa freeze very much.
Even if there's concentration challenges in school for Kevin, when it comes to fishing there's tolerance, focus and concentration like no one else we know of.
With Kevin away and Daniel helping a friend all of Saturday there was some mum-Oliver quality time which doesn't happen often. Went to grandma and grandpa with freshly baked break and boiled eggs in the morning, coffee break and chat with great grandmothers sister Inga who Oliver looked at for a very long time before the first thing he says to her is: You are REALLY old!!!, cruised the local Spring-market in town and rounded off with served dinner with grandma and Klasen.

Hen house

4 strong men showed up this morning to help us get our playhouse home. This playhouse is meant to be the new home for our hens! Thank You Micke, Tobbe, Chrille and Klasen for your muscles today!!
Apart from the hen house move this was another lazy day with the Berg family!! Building a Lego-car, first swim in grandma and Klasens pool, quick stop by Lena & Håkan and then a very relaxing evening with movie and sofa hang.

Toughest

This year it was Daniels turn to show how tough he is by competing in Toughest! 8km long race in water, on the beach and over/under/through 50 obstacles!!! Very well done and best result in the team he was starting together with.

Stone frame completed!

The stair and frame for our wooden deck is now all done! Well done Daniel for all hard working hours!

Spiderman & Princess

 Spiderman and Princess went riding today with mum while Kevin and Daniel went to the swimming hall before BBQ with our dearest friends in Dösjebro.

1st of May

 

1st of May and Public Holiday! Daniel was the only person leaving the house/garden today. We've only been hanging around home today and reeeaaallly enjoying it. Not often we have a day without anything planned and after today I feel like never plan anything anymore. Well, I wouldn't of course stand that for very long, but today was a needed day for our little family. Daniel finalized the new stair to our wooded deck to be and I planted cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper and cleaned the garden while the kids either had friends at our place or went to play with friends in the neighbourhood.
