Camping

Right after work we took our camper van to one of the closest camp sites; Lomma beach. Got a great spot close to the beach with nice view of sunset. Crayfish, garlic bread, pie and chocolate fondue was the dishes tonight. With company of Fam Bendsen we got a very relaxed and enjoyable evening together.

Haircut

 

Kevin looked a little different when he got home today. No wonder! He had cut his hair at day-care!! He complained the other morning that his hair was too long. But we didn't think it wad bothering him that much!!
Dinner with Fam Ericsson and preparing the camper van for the weekend was on the agenda for tonight.
Nice fish for dinner and lots of play for the kids. When they were sound asleep we packed the van and prepared the menu for tomorrow night.
Now you can also see how the flower bed looked before digging and how it's slowly getting into shape.

Grandma

Wednesday means being picked up early by grandma. There's often something fun and yummy on the agenda. And so even today. McDonald's!!! Both yummy and fun. No wonder we had big fights at the dinner table later tonight. I'm sure they weren't hungry and was spending the time by the table to play with the food and tease each other.
We worked a little more with the huge flower bed outside our new bedroom. Finalized everything tonight with both more soil and flowers in place. We're the only ones wanting rain now so that our flowers and tree starts to grow.

Working bee

Our fantastic friends came around tonight with the deal that they would be served dinner, dessert and coffee if they helped us dig!! Tough digging, a couple of rounds to the recycling station and 2 ton new soil almost filled up the hole. A very successful night Thanking everyone that helped us tonight for your hard work. Appreciate your kindness and time very much.

Efficient Sunday

 

 

16,8km run with in total 300m climb in the morning for mum. Bike ride to Fam Persson for nice breakfast for Daniel and the boys. Daniel and Håkan worked hard all day with the stone wall they wanted around the parking spot for their camper van.
I went with the kids to a birthday celebration before coming back to Lena and Håkan for nice dinner. I also manage to create some new earrings!

50m2

 

 

Combat and the luxury of served brunch with great friends for mum. Calm morning and the scout group for the first time for Daniel and the boys. After a pancake lunch we went to Fam Jakobsson to install 50m2 Pergo floor. Piece of cake and lots of fun when doing it together and for others.

Time flies

 

We're slowly getting into the work/day-care and getting up early routine again. Even if our family like to have routines I think that we would all like to have another two weeks holiday where we can just take everything as it comes. But no, holiday is over for this year and we're counting down to Xmas and our New Zealand/Thailand trip waiting for us right after New Year.

Today after work I had two very helpful boys. We got all the apples from our apple tree collected and thrown away. Then we were of to fam Ericsson for our traditional Thursday dinner. Tonight it was our turn to come to a set table with dinner ready. A very good tradition!
Kevin went with grandma and Klasen to Circus tonight and wasn't back home until late. So while Daniel was at the gym I took the chance to have a cosy time with Oliver. Our new beanbags made it easy to get into a cosy mood. We even whispered all night. Have you ever tried to whisper to each other for a whole evening. It's a very easy way to calm down and even Oliver seemed to be a little more gentle when whispering.

Hot hot hot

Extremely hot day today. Breakfast at grandma and Klasen's place. Fishing in Vikhög. Coffee and play time at Adolfssons. Painting, playing, running and BBQing at Järavallen with three other families.

What a night

Daniel played golf tournament today. Ended up on 11th place out of 74. Well done!

Granddad came and played with the kids while I instructed Combat at the gym.
Then it was me and the boys the rest of the day until later afternoon when our dinner company and Daniel arrived. The nicest evening of the whole summer was tonight. We BBQed an amazing whole salmon, the kids played outdoor most of the time, the wine tasted good and extremely nice company!! Nothing else to ask for but for the time to stop so that we can enjoy the moment of a calm, warm and perfectly humid night which has become a very rare thing the last two years.

Hot Friday

Grandma picked up the kids from day-care and went to the beach with picnic. Klasen and Daniel joined up after work with pizza for dinner. The best way to end a long week according to the kids. Thanks grandma for you patience.

Jewellery for dad

Nice evening with boys who wanted to make jewellery for dad. And so we did.
Our new room is also slowly getting in shape.

In the pool

Since there was no time to swim in the pool yesterday I'd promised the kids we would go swimming today after day-care if the weather allowed. And it did so of course we went swimming. Take away for dinner and Kevin had a long enjoyable swim with Klasen.

Last day of our vacation

Breakfast with grandma and Klasen. Then Daniel and Klasen went to play golf.
Sofie and Rickard came by with birthday gifts for Oliver as they were in Turkey when we had Oliver's birthday party.
Lunch with great friends in Vellinge. Then it was time to watch Sweden play Olympic handball final against France at Bentsens place. But unfortunately we lost. So we decided with five other families to BBQ by the coast in the forest. One prepared the BBQ and looked after the kids while the rest of us went for a run. Ate together and enjoyed one of the nicest evenings in a long time.

Dinner in Furulund

Daniel and the boys baked scones this morning. After breakfast I was picked up by Malin to go running 12km along the coastline from Landskrona. What a beautiful run. Amazing views!
Kevin went to the neighbour girls birthday party from 11am. We were invited as well for a coffee when we went to pick him up.
Later we drove to Furulund for a cooling swim and dinner. Kevin is almost swimming from side to side on his own!!

Lazy day

Breakfast in Oliver's new tent, went to the swimming pool for 2 hours, had lunch and played at McDonald's, grocery shopping and prepared dinner for 8 must count as a successful day. I'm a little proud of myself for achieving all this on my own with two kids. But we all behaved very well so went smoothly all day.
A very needed combat training rounded of this hectic day in a perfect way.

Big boys

Our trolley is now for sale. A true sign that our boys are getting bigger. One is rather biking and one is rather walking so no need for this anymore.
It has been a very handy trolley from new born until 2-3 years. Perfect to go jogging/shopping with! If you or anyone you know are interested, please let me know. The price is 1400kr. All possible details are included.

Relaxing day with mum

Oliver 2 years old

Its incredible how time flies! Today our little "baby" Oliver turns 2 years old. He's had a fantastic day with play date with his girlfriend Malva and her sister and mother who kept Kevin and mum company. Then it was a long waiting before family came to celebrate and eat dinner. It was full focus all night long and being like Oliver always is; that is a dream environment to be in. And I can tell that he was enjoying fully. He got so many nice presents and he's an extremely happy little boy after today’s happenings!

Kevin is swimming

 

Breakfast a la tropical summer at grandma and Klasen's place. Kevin spend the night here and this morning we enjoyed bread rolls from the bakery, coffee, clear blue sky while proudly watching Kevin's first couple of swim strokes. He learned to swim last night and now there's no ending of this activity.
Thanks to Klasen who's so patiently spending hour after hour in their pool with Kevin.

Good bye Osby camping

Thanking Osby camping and fantastic company for this year. It's been awesome in many ways. It's been just as relaxed as a holiday should be. With right people around you, this comes easy. But we've still done things. Everything from visiting and having lunch in Osby, canoe tour with picnic, being spoiled with BBQed duck in Vietnamese style, trying to stay fit with a couple of runs in tougher terrain then the flat landscape we're use to from home, swimming, playing card, drinking rose wine, blueberry picking and much much more.
The only thing that wasn't just as pleasant was when Oliver got an ice-cube stuck in his trough that only came out after serious performed Heimlich manover. He threw up and was scared for a while but recovered quicker then his mother who couldn't stop thinking and analysing the scenario.
