Fever

Woke up with high fever today. Drove mum to work so that we could get some drugs to reduce the fever from mum’s kind colleague. Above is how much energy I had after some drugs and breakfast!

I also want to thank my other colleague Linda and her family for serving beautiful BBQ yesterday night. What a wonderful family! THANK YOU!

Evening at Trelleborg Camping

Dad enjoy his ice-cream on his own!

I figured I'd help mum with her ice-cream. She's always on a diet anyway so I'm really doing her a favour.

Having mum back from work is always fun!! Dad got sick of having me asking for mum all day long....

My father isn't working with flowers for nothing!!

Camping

We're now enjoying our camping life in Trelleborg. Dad is on vacation for 5 weeks while mum is still working for another 3 weeks. Therefore we're camping in Trelleborg so mum can bike to and from work and I can enjoy the beach with dad. And then we still get the wonderful relaxing evenings together!
We'll stay at Dala Badet camping until Thursday when we head for some serious Midsummer celebration in Simrishamn until Sunday!
If you're passing by, or just want to BBQ or get a glass of wine - you're always welcome to drop by!!

Our new sofa - finally!!!

After month of waiting we finally got our new sofa! Daniel had his day of and had time to put them in place. So this is how nice it looked when I got home from work.
For the first time in month, we sat down in front of the TV with a cup of tea before going to bed. But I think Daniel has been missing the sitting down and relax part more then I have. But I must admit that it was kind of nice to calm down a little before going to bed. Calm down is normally not what I stand for!

Forgot to tell and show you about the Saturday two weeks ago when we spent the whole day with our dear friends in Kastberga renovating their barn. Often when we see these friends we do some projects on our houses or in our gardens. We're both two very active families with allot of projects going on. So for us it's the perfect way of being social when we can spend a whole day together building or painting. We started the day with fresh breadrolls from the bakery, then worked a full day before relaxing with BBQ and bathing in their jaccuzzi with miles long view of the country side.

National Day

On our National Day we had lunch with good friends. We gave the kids loads of waterbaloons so you can just imagine that they stayed busy for hours! Then they fell sound asleep in their pram!
We drove straight from them to the next party in Furulund. Here we got delicious snacks and a perfect warm up before the BIG party with 200 others in a tent on the soccer field in Furulund. We ate really nice food before doing our best to cheer for Sweden when playing against Denmark. But without any luck!
I was the only one driving this night and as the time went by people got louder and louder and started to tell me the same story over and over again. Above you can also see what mood my husband and Klas was in. You can just imagine the number or beers they had drunk for Daniel to sit in Klas lap!! Lucky I had to take Kevin home at 11. I wasn't too sad about that at all! :o)

Friday 5 June 2009

Enjoyed dinner with mum and Klas after a long tiring week. It's been full on both at work and at home so I'm extremely tired at the moment. If I could choose, I would cancel all our plans 3 weeks ahead and just sleep as much as I can. But that's not really possible so I try to go with the flow and hope that things will calm down soon.
Therefore it was veeery nice to be served dinner on a Friday. For once I didn't have to drive home and could enjoy some wine. But some wine ended up being a bottle on my own! Woohooo..... We got home in time to put Kevin in bed. And instead of going to bed myself which I really needed to I decided to get things done in the garden. I put most of the stones down around the big flowerbed. It has never been so fun working in the garden as when you have a bottle of red in your body! :o)) And looking at the result the next morning, it wasn't bad at all!!

Grandma

We all know that Kevin is lucky to be picked up at day-care by grandma a couple of days a week. He get so much attention and new toys that he probably wish that grandma would open a private day-care so that he could spend the whole day with her.
This is a normal afternoon with grandma: The road from day-care is normally straight to the store to buy something to eat. Then home to grandma and drink coffee (with allot of milk!) and a sandwich. Afterwards they often spend some time outside. Then they go inside again to read a book, watch a movie or like today play with homemade green dough.
He was also introduced to the vacuum cleaner and unlike his father he liked to clean! :o)
