Fantastic Thursday

Thursday tradition with dinner at the Ericssons. Wonderful to arrive to a set table, nice food and a glass of wine/beer. The kids loves spending time together. Thanks for a great evening together!

Photography at day-care

Today it was time for the yearly photography at day-care and the big mission for dad to fix clothes and hair! He sent sms to mum a few times to ask questions and to get approval on choice of clothes. Above is their try to get Kevin's hair under control. I'm not to judge anyone, but I think I'll take some time of work next time to be there for the preparations! :o)

Bike trailer

After dinner Daniel went to Höör to drop of the picture he want to get tattooed on his calf in a couple of weeks. During that time I borrowed a bike trailer from our friends Anna and Emil. Took the kids for a ride they'll never forget. I might have a problem doing things slow, therefore the kids got a ride of their lives;o) But we had a great time! The faster I went, the more they laugh. Kevin wanted me to find more hills to ride downwards on. Had a little break in Furulund before heading home again.

BBQ

After a big shopping day at the mall we're now all set for winter. All clothes and boots for the kids are now purchased and the winter can arrive any day. We're prepared for an arctic winter!
Had a spontaneous bbq with Ida and Chrille. For ones the weather allowed us to sit outdoor with the sun in our face.
We made some training camp plans for next year challenges. Being social and getting in shape at the same time is something we like very much.

Tirups herbfarm

Spent a couple of hours at Tirups Herbfarm with my dear former colleague. Kids loved their different playground and we loved their coffee and lunch! All plants was for sale so six plants came with us home. The boys helped me to plant them when we got home.
Daniel spent a whole day playing golf with Klasen, Rickard and Bosse. Rounded of the day with nice taco at our place. Mum and Klasen fixed everything with and around the dinner. We felt spoiled but must admit it was kind of nice being spoiled. Thank you all involved for today! It's been a very enjoyable day in many ways.

New tradition started

Today was the first of many Thursdays to come with common dinner together with family Ericsson. We've decided to make Thursdays more fun and social. So every second Thursday we'll cook dinner for both families. That also means that one day every second week we don't have to worry about dinner. But today we were the ones serving. Salmon lasagne with raspberry pannacotta for desert. As a little extra to this first time, Anna's parents from Västervik were visiting and joined us with a homemade mushroom soup with mushrooms from the area where they live. Because it was the kick-off for many coming nice Thursdays we enjoyed wine this weekday.

Corn

Was invited to Mariett and Bengt to get a taste of their corn grown right next to where we've been playing with the kids and riding the horses all spring and summer this year. They were jammy.

Ear doctor

Kevin's visit at the ear doctor today went so and so. It's time for another examination in order to combat the tonsils and once again try to fight his adenoids to regain better hearing.
It hurts to know that he'll go through it again. But we all know that he is and has always been a fighter so even this time will go great.

The Smurfs

 

Went to see the Smurfs at the cinema with Kevin tonight. Oliver had the privilege to be in Furulund.
Very good movie for the kids at the same time as it's very nostalgic for the adults.

Pergo Kick-off

This is the truck which will go on a Europe Tour starting Monday and it was this big truck the Kick-off this weekend was all about. While I was taught how and what to show in the truck during Road show my family was spending time with Daniel´s parents. Kevin went to a party at a funhouse to celebrate his friend William´s 4th birthday.
When we were all together on Sunday it was great to play games, take a bath and just be with the kids.

We even started the fireplace since it's so extremely autumnal, but realize that it's still a little too warm outdoor to start the fire. Ended up having to open all doors and windows coz our house became more as a sauna.

Beans and sausage

Like any other dishes we introduce to Oliver, he loves it. So even with beans and sausage! Dad and Oliver enjoyed this with Klasen in Furulund.

Birthday in the States

Our dear friend Marielle has her birthday today and family Berg is sending her loads of hugs and wishing her Happy Birthday!
Miss you heaps!

Fishing and gym day

Fishing day for the kids today. With Daniel and grandma and grandpa in Malmö. Didn't have any luck with fishing so went to bake some cinnamon rolls instead.
Mum spent the day at the gym which had an open house day where people could come and try different classes for free. My combat went really well and I got good feedback.

Full days activities

As close to a hotel breakfast as it can get for fam Berg this morning. Needed to fill up with energy for the day that followed. Couple of hours full speed on a 900m long luge at Kungsbygget. Even Oliver liked the high speed. That's my boys!:-)
Enjoyed a bbq and the company of fam Henberg/Johansson and Johanna before heading back home. Stopped by in Furulund on our way home for a pizza. Non of us had any problem falling asleep when we got home.

Time flies

 

The weeks totally fly away. Kevin is back at day-care, I'm back working, we're trying to fit in our training and to see friends and family. And some days we even try doing nothing. Daniel went to a meeting at day-care while I took the chance of playing with kids outdoor. In the middle of our play grandma and Klasen surprised us with a visit. We love spontaneous visits and we were happy to see them. The kids got one cool hat each.

Weekend

 

Nice weekend with nice people. Friday night with family Henberg/Johansson and taco at our place. The kids had a ball from first till last moment. The men followed the soccer game Sweden against Hungary. We dont have to specify the result do we!
We, the athlete women;-), planned more around our challenge next year: The "swedish klassiker". It went pretty good and I just get more and more inspired by every detail that falls into place. We even manage to get a very generous sponsor. Highly appreciated!
Daniel has been working hard with laying more then 100m2 stone at some friends driveway and garden.
So I've been enjoying quality time with the boys. On Saturday Kevin went with Sofie to watch his idol Rickard play an ice-hockey game in Lund. He loved it and was lyric about all the goals Rickard was involved in.
Had a slow Saturday night with dinner followed by cheese and crackers.
Sunday was spent with family Svensson/Axelsson. Beautiful day, nice lunch, great visit to the playground, jammy coffee with cake. All with great company.
