Gisborne

Clear blue sky and lots of sunscreen 50+!!! Another day in paradise!
Anna went to work, Dave went surfing and we went to the beach checking out the surf waves and the cool surfers. Then Dave took us to an awesome sightseeing to Rere slides which was just as scary as thrilling. A 30m natural water slide on a massive rock in a river. Daniel didn't dare having a go and even I was hesitating. Only Kevin was eager to go. Then we saw a 80 year old man had a go..twice! Then I was convinced that I would definitely have a go. Went once on my own. Just as scary as I was afraid it was going to be. But went two more times with Kevin on my back.

Continued to the hidden Champagne lagoon that only the very locals know where to find around the corner for a nice swim in the river with lots of spectacular stone formations creating small waterfalls together with really deep lagoons.

Rounded of with a picnic at the Rere Falls.

Went straight back home and down to the beach. We took turns enjoying a run on the beach. Pretty ok to stretch and do pushups on the beach with surfers in action and happy kids in front of me!

Rounded of our last night in Gisborne and with Dave and Anna at a Mexican restaurant!
Hope you can see the video attached!
