Chicken ordered

Today we finally got around to visit the recommended chicken-place "Olofslunds Kycklingar" to get answers to all our questions and have a look at the different breeds and their qualities. We all agreed on a mix of three different types. Ordered 5 of each hoping that we can keep 6-8 alive. The odds are 50% according to the breeder so we're not aiming too high!
This is what we'll have in our garden as of about 6 weeks:

Orpington is from England. They ley eggs all year around, but not extremely many.
She's very social and calm.

Colombian Sussex is a popular and beautiful breed from England. Lay many eggs, even during winter. A patient and tolerant type.

Maran is a big breed from France. Lay many big darkbrown eggs. Very big and strong breed.

So start saving your egg cartons so that you can get some
eggs with you home next time you stop by!!!!!!!!!
