Cheese and crackers

A very slow but well deserved day. Went for a powerwalk after dropping Kevin of at day-care. Had visits by Hille & Viktor and later Anna, Simon and Philip. Picked up Kevin at 2pm and got a playmate and her mum with us home. The kids played and we relaxed with a cup of tea.
When Daniel got home we showed our little car for a potential buyer. He liked the car but was going to think about the price and get back to us tomorrow.
Later Kevin and Daniel cleaned out the campingvan which also is for sale.
And finally we enjoyed some cheese and crackers which we got from Daniels mother. Yam!

Evening with fam Persson

Since Kevin fell asleep by the dinnertable we had to do something to keep him awake. We decided to return some things to Lena and Håkan.  So we packed Daniels van with their table, the coffee machine and a stand for bicycles and drove to Furulund. We found Håkan practicing golf swings. The person we least expected to become a golfplayer is practicing golf in his own garden!
Thanks for good coffee and a nice chat!

Tired

During my lunch date Kevin went to the toilet and then it sounded like he went to play in his room. But when I went to check on him, this is where I found him. Sound sleep! Pore little thing has got the days totally wrong. Wakes up around 5 6 in the mornings and want to go to bed before 6pm. Sometimes we manage to keep him awake until 8, but often it ends up like this.

Simon

Walked down to ICA to buy some groceries for todays lunch date; Maria and the wonderful Simon. Simon is 10 weeks older then Oliver and such a calm pleasant little boy. And Maria told me she has got a new job. Fantastic news. Congratulation Maria! I'm sure you'll be just as successful in your new position as you always are with everything you take on. Thank you for todays company!

The tired family

Monday means swim school. I take Kevin and Oliver to the swimmingpool and meet up with Daniel who comes straight from work. Kevin did really well in the pool today. I'd prepared dinner so we ate dinner as soon as we got home. But then this is how energetic my boys become!

Todays 6km walk

Today we walked down to town to the grocerystore and to the bank. Kevin was on his bike and did all 6km without help.
Halfway we stopped for a smoothie.

Nuggz cake no 2

Nuggz kick-off is now finished and I'm very pleased with the sales and the fantastic response I got from all visitors. Thanks for taking time to come by with or without friends/family and for shopping so many shoes! It has been a very inspiring weekend and you've given me wonderful feedback.
And a special thanks to Daniel for supporting me and helping me with everything before, during and after. I wouldn't be able to do it without you.
And of course a huge thank you to our parents and fam Persson for always helping out.

7 weeks

It's now 7 weeks ago since Oliver came out. Time flies and I'm starting to like the life at home more and more. But trying to get my shoe business up and running is a great way to stay in contact with the adult world!

Today I went to Trelleborg with both kids. Said hello to my colleagues at Pergo before going to Linda, another colleague, for a cup of coffee and to pick up the fantastic cakes she has make for Nuggz kick-off.
When we got home we started to prepare dinner. Daniel got home early  so we had early dinner. Then grandma and Klas called and asked if Kevin wanted to sleep at their place tonight. He didn't even think about it, but yelled out YES! right away. So they came and picked up Kevin. We did some more preparation to Nuggz showroom before going to bed early.
Here I am breast feeding at 6.30am! Oliver has again slept all night. Such a good little boy he is.

Advanced swing

What a day! Kevin woke me up early today so we figured we might just as well get started and get a few things done. But first we enjoyed a long breakfast. Then we went out to our campervan to check how much teaspoons and coffeecups in plastic we had. Need to know for the kick-off this weekend as I'm going to serve coffee and goodies to my visitors. I do anything to make them hang around for as long as it takes to get into perfect shopping spirit!;-)
Then I prepared one package with shoes for Germany and another package for Russia. Then of to day-care with Kevin. I convinced Anna to join me for a powerwalk to get the parcels sent.
Then feed Oliver and myself while making the last details on some invitations. Took a bath with Oliver before going to Lund to buy things for the kick-off. Went straight to my midwife. Went through the journal from Olivers birth. She made something quit chocking clear for me: I had two placenas which often means that there were twins from the beginning!!
When I had calmed down from the chock I went to meet up with Kevin who went home with Alma from day-care today. They were at the playground and Kevin was swinging like crazy. Now it's not enough to just swing high, he is now also making us twist the swing at the same time. Wild boy! Where has if got that from?;-)

Long time no see

It was way too long time since we saw William and his family. So today we asked if they wanted to play. We went there with pancakes and cookies and it was full action for 4 hours!
Thank you Helena, William and Victor for a lovely day!

New playground

With the help from Kevin and Daniel I got another 100 Nuggz flyers handed out in mailboxes around our area. On our way around we stopped by and voted for who will run our country the next 4 years.
We also found a new fun playground!

Sunday morning

Kevin and Daniel went to the swimmingpool after breakfast. They use to do that every Sunday morning before the summer. And now it's time to get back into that routine again when the weather doesn't allow us to swim outdoor. When they came back they were pretty exhausted so they rested in the sofa with a game of bowling on Daniels iphone.

Growing out of his winter clothes

Oliver have the nicest wintercoat that he got from fam Persson.  But there's one negative thing about growing like crazy. The coat will most likely be too small within 1-2 month:-(

Malte

Our very best friend, Malte, is on longer with us. He was the most special dog I've ever known and it's with great sadness we say goodbye and thank you for the wonderful years we were lucky to have you around us. Rest in peace! You'll always be missed!

Klasen

Friday evening with grandma and Klasen. Kevin totally loves Klasen. He teaches him everything that's not worth knowing. And Klas only have to tell him something ones and Kevin remembers it right away. What about everything the rest of us tries to teach him that's actually necessary to know? We can tell him as many times we want, he doesn't even try to remember.

Playground and cafe

Visit to the playground and Carolas cafe. This Friday tradition can I live with!

Big day out with day-care

Today it was time for a bus trip with day-care to the forest. Kevin was very exciting about this trip. My little boy is going away with his own backpack. Time to realise that he's not so little anymore.

Pancakes with friends

An afternoon with full action together with friends from day-care. I made pancakes to us which was very appreciated by everyone.

Evening chat with dad

Our homework with Oliver to get his shoulder good again is to get him to look to his right, his stiff and sore side, as much as possible. Tonight Daniel had a long chat with him and got him to look right for a long time. Well done!

Happy birthday

Happy birthday wishes to our dearest Marielle from fam Berg! Hope you get a wonderful day. Miss you heaps!

A day at home

With all our gumboots and raincoats we walked/biked to the grocerystore and back. Ended up being 7,5km and Kevin biked all the way! When we got home I thought Kevin would be tired and wanting to relax for 5min. But NOOO, it was full action on our trampoline and slide for am other hour.

Lasagne

After an ice-cream at Carolas cafe we went home and made a new kind of lasagne which was a success according to all family members.
Then Kevin enjoyed a bath while I did the dishes and Daniel spent some time with Oliver. Then it was finally time for just doing nothing! We try to make our Fridays the lazy day of the week. And there's always popcorn involved.:-)

Furulund

The Playground in Furulund is in the middle of the forest!

Rainy day

As we woke up to a grey and rainy day today we had to plan some indoor activities. So after a less inspiring visit to the physiotherapist with Oliver this morning who confirmed damages on his collarbone similar to what Kevin had when he broke his during birth, we went to Lenas work to serve some nigxxxballs and drink a cup of coffee.
From Lenas work we had some take away before spending the afternoon at our favourite playground in Furulund. We got really wet, but a little rain has never killed anyone.

Mama bootcamp

Today I've just cruised around. Most of my muscles are sore from an hour mama bootcamp yesterday. It's an outdoor activity for all mamas in town. Great stuff and allot of fun!
It was time to check that Oliver is growing as if should. And is he now!! She said before that as long as he is gaining 150g every week she's pleased. But the result showed that he has been gaining 300g for 5 weeks!!

Spiderman

Day-care for Kevin today between 9am and 2pm. After I'd dropped Kevin of I went for a short powerwalk. Measured the track with my gps in my mobile to 2,2km. Not much, but at least something to start with to slowly get back in shape.
Then I had to search for the best option to get some Nuggz shoes sent to Latvia.
From day-care we went straight to play with Alma and six other kids. Had great fun until it was time to go home and prepare dinner. Ate as soon as Daniel got home from work so we could be on time to grandma who was gonna cut Kevin and Daniels hair. Surprised grandma and Klasen as Spiderman!

BBQ

No day-care today as he's only allowed to be there 15 hours per week (Tue, Wed and Thurs) as I'm on maternity leave so we asked Anna and her children if they wanted to join us for a full day in the forest as it's wonderful weather today. They were not hard to convince and we spent a full day socializing, BBQing sausages and running around. Thanks for a fantastic day!

Creative art work

Creative outdoor art work by Kevin and Alma!!

Tirups Herbgarden

Visit to Tirups Herbgarden for some fun at the playground and a delicious lunch with Vivvi, Mikey and Isak.

Afternoon snooze

Even if I feel lazy when I take a snooze with Oliver during the day, it's quality time on a high level. There's nothing like sleeping close together with your baby, smell their lovely smell and listen to their breathing!!

Bread delivery!

Went by mum and Klas and dropped of a bread roll in the post box. They hadn't picked up the newspaper yet so I figured they were still asleep. Drove to Lena and Håkan. I exchanged my baby with their dog. Went for a walk before enjoying breakfast together with them. Always pleasant to hang around with these two! And even if it's nice when Kevin comes along, I must admit that I really relaxed today when I only had Oliver with me.

Underwear

Got it a little wrong with the boxer shorts this morning. :-)
Kevin is going to grandma and grandpa in Malmo today while Daniel is of to a reunion with his old soccer team. I m just gonna hang around home, surprise someone with breakfast bread and hope they will serve me coffee. Then it's autumn market in town which we ll visit together with Fam Adolfsson.

Gaining weight

Oliver has gained 1kg in two weeks! Must be rich cream in my breasts!;-)

Coffee break

Coffee break at Carolas cafe with Alfred.

A day on the bike

Went all the way to Furulund on the bike. Longest ride ever and Kevin did really well. Halfway to Furulund our friends Mira and Anna met up and made the rest of the way much more fun. We were spoiled with served lunch before walking to Kevins favourite playground in Furulund. We had great fun and I had to run with all the kids. It felt like a full workout! Thanks Anna x 2, Lina, Hugo, Alfred, Alma, Max and Alvin for a fantastic day together.

Kevin & Oliver

Owr two stars in our lives!! Kevin and Oliver. I've always doubted that it's possible to love another child just as much as Kevin, but already I'm 200% sure that it's possible. Without any doubt!
Some says they are very alike, what do you think? Can you tell who´s who?
