Guys-trip to Norway

Daniel and his friend Andreas went a week to Norway on their own. With pressure from their wives they finally booked the flight and rental car and went far up north.
-An experience beyond any. No pictures can ever explain how spectacular nature the is.
From home we've followed their expeditions. Fishing from a pier with the company of killerwhales just 100m out, catching a 15kg codfish and several halibut as well as seeing mooses along the roads.
With baggage filled with filleted fish and whale meet they were very welcomed home today.

Skatepark

The locally newly built skatepark is our new favorite place. Or boys have so much fun there and yhey learn new tricks on their kickbikes every time. And I'm amazed there's not more crashes. So many kids in different ages and everyone just look after each other. Cool!

Fuck cancer

As most people that knows us well and who care enough to ask how we're doing knows that my dad is fighting lung cancer at the moment. He had his right lung removed a couple of weeks ago and recovered amazingly well. Cancer cells have been found in lymph nodes and pleura tissues so he still have a big battle to fight. But the lung surgery wasn't the worst. It was the chemotherapy that made him fall deep. I've spent some time with him trying to learn more about this terrible diseases, what stadium his cancer is at and what can be done. But when the feeling of dying is so strong it isn't easy to find energy and motivation to go through some treatment that you know most likely will make you even weaker. But the two of us built a strong team, booked a meeting with his doctor, got all our questions answered and have not got another type of chemotherapy which dad, to my relief, is dedicated to give a try. So coming 4-5 weeks is very crucial. Crossing my fingers that my superman-dad fight this fucking cancer!
Today we finally found time for everyone to meet and have a wonderful dinner together.

Bowling party

Kevin was invited to William's bowling party in Malmö, but Oliver was privileged to also be invited to keep William's little brother company. Bowling, hamburger-dinner and disco with free access to coffee made this Sunday for us!

Early Friday with grandma and grandpa

Kids picked up early by Daniel's parents from day-care and school this Friday to go for a walk, Oliver did some serious paving in the way he has seen his dad do, visiting a motor cross store and finally meeting up with me and Daniel at the burger restaurant Lucy's which we introduced to Daniel's parents without disappointments.

Tired Tuesday

Even if our kids never seems to be able to take it easy and slow down, sometimes even they ask for a movie watched from they parents bed, candle lights and just do nothing at all! This Tuesday they asked for just this. And they enjoyed it fully!

Autumn shoes shopping

They picked their own shoes today!

Patience

With Daniel helping his friend move over 2ton salmon at his fishing-camp I had a hectic day with the kids. But with perfect planning and great help from grandma everything is possible.
Class at the gym, class at the autumn-market in town, Oliver of to a friends birthday-bowling-party, Kevin playing with a friend, skatepark and in between both breakfast, healthy snacks, baking a cake and dinner.
While preparing the dinner and Kevin was with a friend skating Oliver wanted to create his own thank you-card to his two friends who invited him to their bowling-party today. With impressive patience he wrote "thank you for a fun party" on two cards. (We didn't even think he could write at all!!!!!)
Daniel got home just in time to be able to join us for dinner.
So happy to have such great family around my! You all mean so much!

K.A.P

Today Daniel was in Malmö testing different beer's with his father and brother.
The kids and myself visited for the first time Kävlinge activity park. We were hardly the only ones there but it was great fun and we'll probably be spending many more hours here. Just when we arrived we meet Lena and her beautiful dogs who all stayed and joined us during our premier tonight.
Followed by take-away and an early night to bed. As prefect as it can get after a tough week.
