Tykarps Cave and night on our boat

Breakfast with grandma in Furulund. She came with the brilliant idea to visit Tykarps Caves. Quickly made coffee and something to eat and of we went. What a fantastic place to visit! The guided tour was very interesting and our boys listened carefully and even took the opportunity to crawl through the little tunnel to meet and make a wish to mini-Santa.
Pore grandma had to use a piece of eaten watermelon when realizing we forgot to bring a teaspoon. Coffee with a touch of watermelon is the new trend :o)

The same night I went with the kids to our boat to spend the night. We stayed in the harbour and none of us slept very well. But it was very cosy and a fun thing to do together. And they got several hours to fish for crabs which they love. Funny how good friends whey are when fishing together. Is was a pleasure to sit in the boat and watch them cooperate on a high level. Unfortunately it all ended with tears when Oliver got the hook in his finger. Nothing serious but enough pain to not want to do it anymore.

Garden project

We're trying to figure out what to do with the backside of the garden which has shown to be the calmest and sunniest side of our house. But it's very narrow so challenging to get in all we want such as Jacuzzi, bbq island, lounge area, pool......

Othello

Oliver challenging grandma in Othello and wins!! Who have been practising with him?!

Grandma & grandad

The best question you as a parents can get from grandpa and grandma is Can we please borrow your boys for a day or two. We got the question from Daniels parents and of course our boys should spend time with them if they want. We think it's important and we appreciate that the question comes from them selves! One day eating as much pancakes as you can, no wonder they love the time with grandma and grandpa.
But after one night Oliver missed dad too much and wanted to come home. So he did while Kevin stayed another day/night.
Thanks for taking so good care of our boys!

Norway

Another amazing trip to Vesterålen in north of Norway has come to an end. And again we are stunned over the landscape, the friendly people and the unbelievable way our bodies seems to calm down. We love life up here and can't get enough.
Our dear friends Herdis-Irene and Frank-Tore are such fantastic people. And so are all the relatives and friends of theirs which are privileges to meet.
Several walks to some of the local hill tops, fishing in the fjords and in mountain lakes, gardening, bbq's and many hours just hanging around and relaxing.
And of course, the race; Vetten Opp. A 4 km race with 467m hight difference! Phu!

Salmon bbq

We offered to bring our salmon to grandma and Klasen if they were up for a bbq together. And they were on!
So while Daniel painted part of our roof, I spent some hours with the kids a the beach before visiting grandad at hospital. Then finally we met up for salmon bbq. Really nice and ofcourse cooling swim in their pool.

Agnes

Or boys finally got to see their new cousin; Agnes who's only 11 days old on my cousins birthday when we gathered for a lovely bbq in Eslöv. She is a big newborn but absolutely adorable!
Thanks for a very nice evening!

Fuck cancer

Recovering extremely well and have an outstanding positive attitude, this champion is doing well. Still on drugs but very optimistic. It all seems as if they got all cancer when removing one lung so it's very promising.
But if it wasn't for his good health and his lung capacity, they would never have dared to do the lung sugary and remove one whole lung. So make sure you're all in good health, it can be your only hope if you ever get seriously ill.

Fuck cancer

Cancer is everywhere and now it has even got to one of my closest family members; my father. This disease is awful in so many ways it's hard to take it all in. During last year, since my father retired earlier, he has bragged about how fantastic life is when you're your own boss, get time to work-out, develop his business and to travel whenever. Then five weeks ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer. Around 3 cm big. Ok, an easy surgery to remove it? No, yesterday he got one lung completely removed because the cancer was located badly and had spread.
Even if he's on drugs right now he sounds amazingly good. So surgery went well and it all looks promising again, thank God.
But the coming rehab and treatments will be a tough journey even for my hard case father!
