Midsummer weekend

 

Even if it's still a cold as a normal autumn in Sweden when it should be at least 15 degree's warmer, we've had a wonderful midsummer weekend. For the first time in 8 years we were not camping. We started midsummer with a lovely breakfast at our place together with grandma and Klasen. Then bbq and very calm afternoon/night in Billeberga at Malin and Andreas place. We hardly saw any of the many kids as they were busy playing and having a blast together. So we could really enjoy fantastic food and very nice company.

We've also found a buyer of campervan! Finally after being for sale for several weeks. But to our disappointment the fridge has stopped working. Luckily the buyer is not too worried or stressed about it all. He just want us to fix something that's working. Doesn't need to be original. So now we're searching everywere after a fridge for our campervan do that it can finally be picked up by it's new owner. And we can get some space on our driveway for our own cars!

Finally we got all four families together for a weekend in the forest by the Bjeveröds lakes. Except the extreme numbers of mosquitoes, we had a fantastic weekend. Primitive living, no ipads and more fresh air than ever = best thinkable weekend ever and we loved every moment of it. To do it together with good friends just make it even more enjoyable.

Finally some sun

It's June and we've hardly had any days with above 15 degree's. But today we had a very warm and humid day. And where else do we spend a day like that but on the boat in the Sound. Fantastic hours spent with my family. If we only got some fish, the day would be complete. But they did weren't interested at all.

Best party in a long time! Cowboy party to celebrate Mariett och Bengt's 45 + 50 years birthday.
Kids was fortunate to be able to stay with Lena and Håkan which they of course enjoyed very much.

Kevin's first graduation from 1st class

Today was Kevin's final day as a 1st-grader. It has been a tough term in school but we've manage to round of with a fairly positive feeling about school for Kevin. Unfortunately his fantastic teacher have decided to start working at another school and are leaving a big question mark after her of who we can expect as teacher after summer.
We all followed a very handsome Kevin around on his performance this last school day.
Afterwards we went to Tirups Herb Farm with family Ericsson for some hours of fantastic food, good coffee, fun playground and some herbs in a back with us home! Not unlikely that this will be our tradition on graduations to come...

Magician Kevin Berg

 

Final show by all the magicians at Kevins magician group today. Most of our family came and watched him perform. A bit nervous, but did very well and we've all so proud.
We all had BBQ at our place afterwards!
