Fly fishing in Harasjömåla

This longweekend we used our Christmas present from Daniels patents;  a gift card with two nights accommodations with First Hotel. We booked two nights in Karlshamn to be able to go fly fishing at Harasjömåla. The nature just 1 1/2 hours drive up north is lovely and we love it. Small roads, forest and thousands of lakes all over with small red/white houses hidden away. And with plenty of wildlife.
Even if we didn't get much fish and the service at Harasjömåla was unacceptable  we had two sunny days and more fresh air than we have had in a very long time. Slept like a baby both nights. Had wine and beer with us up and plans to have time to look around Karlshamn, but getting sleep got prioritises. Or are we just getting older?
Included in this Christmas gift was that the kids would stay with Daniels patents.so they did. They had a fantastic time as always with lots of time outdoor as well.

Friday, take away & boat

 

Calmest afternoon/night in a long time. Where else would be better than in a boat in the Sound with your family, take away and fishing? We got one fish with us home.  Love the boat life when it's like this!

Walpurgis Night

 

 

Walpurgis Night and long weekend with near and dear ones. Not much more to ask for.
We invited ourselves earlier this week to family Adolfsson's for walpurgis night at their place together with Sara and Johan and their three children. BBQ and then a walk down to the local fireplace before walking back for icecream and coffee. Always so casual and relaxed with wonderful family Adolfsson.

Friday offered another BBQ with Pernilla's cousin Johanna and her boyfriend Daniel at their house in Eslöv. Lena, Håkan and the two fluffy dogs Saga and Felix was also there.
Fantastic food on nice company!
Our boys stayed with Lena and Håkan to be able to sleep in. Because coming morning is starting at 5.30am for Pernilla and Daniel as it's time for Klasen's birthday gift from us;  full day flyfishing at Bondemölla.

A beautiful Saturday at Bondemölla with Klasen resulted in two small salmon.

Sunday we finally got the last polish done on our boat. Checked the engine and got it in the water and enjoyed a first trip out in the sound. Can't wait to spend more time on our boat this season.
