Huvudstorp No 4

Five families gathered at a farmhouse built 1895 called Huvudstorp No4 for some serious pizza making in wood-fired stone oven. We baked our own pizzas and brought our own wine. The ingredients you get to choose from when making your pizza is picked carefully and with super high quality and mostly produced locally. Both kids and adults had a great cozy time at the farm before heading back to our place for snacks, supermario för the kids and Swedish song contest for the adults.
Lovely afternoon/night with wonderful friends!

Chilli

Miss the chilli's from Thailand when cooking so today it was time to start the little Chili-project to see if we can get our own chili to grow.
Have also started to try out new bread receipt's for the fun of it and because Oliver is very eager to bake. But when he bake on his own, it's mainly meal, sugar, water and/or milk involved, which doesn't end up very tasty. Especially the hard seed-bread turned out very good!

Bowling

Our Xmas gift to our family was a  Bowling night with buffet. Tonight is was time to get together and have some fun. And so we did! Always successful when people from 4 years up to 74 years get together for some fun. This was all taking place at Eslöv's Bowling hall. A risk to choose such small place, but turned out to be a very suitable place. Big enough to have a decent kitchen which served nice File buffet and small enough for the kids to be cruising around without parents being nervous that they would get lost.
Thank you Johanna and Daniel for opening your house for both pre- and after- drinks and Thanks to the rest of the gang for making this night filled with fun and laughter!

Finally back in business

The secret to finally see a healthy Oliver without high fever was to boost yourself to get in clinch with the doctors to claim the right to get him completely checked up including all tests as this is not getting any better. Had to take his temp several times, then on myself and back on Oliver again to make sure it was not just broken.
With a healthier Oliver also comes allot of oxygen in the air = constant talk about everything and nothing.
We offered to take Persson's dogs Saga and Felix for their lunch walk which was received very well. They were very excited to see us and behaved very well. We had a wonderful walk and finally got to see Oliver with energy again. Except the giant poo's they had. Three times!!!! Elephant size!!!!!

Never ending fever

Good to be back home. At least for as long as it lasted until we all got the so typical February infections. Most of us only got a bad cold with little and short fever. But Oliver is on his 8th day with high fever and coughing. Went to see the doctor after 4 days and the message we got wad that he had a bad cold. But I'm starting to doubt it.
Last Friday Kevin with mum went to furulund to have a relaxing and calm end of the first week back in business by spa bath at Persson's. Thanks allot for letting us borrow your spa.
Even if we were all more or less sick we had to get out and get some fresh air. We did that in our favourite surrounding at Bondemölla. First time have us 3 salmon and second time without any luck at all.
Now we're only wishing for Oliver to get well.

Hua Hin, Thailand

Last night in Hua Hin was spent by the enormous pool at the giant hotel we're staying at. Later we went in to the night market for shopping and more thai food. Yummy! Hua Hin is betett for shopping than any other places we've been to. But I'm not sure I'd prefer to come here again. Big cities are nothing for us.

Koh Nang Yuan, Koh Tao, Thailand

Together with another lovely Swedish family we met yesterday at Jansom Bay we went to the famous Koh Nang Yuan today to see what all the bragging was about. And sure enough, it was one of the nicest places we've ever seen. The small islands connected with narrow sand banks and plenty of colourful fish and corals. We're very happy to have seen this place now while still in nice condition. But it's a pity to watch how tourists and locals don't take enough care. Signs friendly ask visitors to be careful. But still you see several tourists kicking like crazy with fins on corals and even standing in the middle of it.
We had lunch, swam in our pool and enjoyed a nice dinner together with the same family Gelin from Stockholm. And as so many other nights the little boys rounded off another awesome day with one banana/nutella each.
