Åkarp-weekend
We connected the camper van to our car and went to our
friends in Åkarp to run, play, eat and drink. Pernilla and Vivvi, the
alike stubborn Swedish Klassiker friends, went for their first longer run
(19Km) before the marathon coming up way to soon while kids played together and the
father's trying Rom's. Life's simply too good sometimes!!
Run went better than expected. Best possible recovery drink ever: Water, Coca-Cola, rosé wine and chocolate!! Mikey, you just became responsible for our recoveries for
all future physical challenger!! And be prepared...there might be a couple more coming up.
Kids played until there was no energy left. And food and drink was superb all evening.
We had a good night sleep in our camper van before a first class breakfast with family Henberg-Johansson.

place. Pictures will follow. The other m2 will have to wait until next year.
Still not sure how we want it all done so still getting inspiration from
different garden designers.

First Summer Holiday week
First Summer holiday week = Kevin's soccer camp and
taking turns with fever.
Kevin is training hard and enjoying it. No problem
getting him to sleep at night:-) Oliver got high fever and was totally knocked
out first couple of days. For one day everyone was healthy and happy. Then
Kevin was next one down with high fever. Luckily he was only out for one
day.

Fork in his eye
Our kids fantastic 7 weeks summer holiday has started, in worst possible way. Oliver has got sky high fever. From nowhere he went from a energetic Oliver to a weak child who answers dad when dad offers an ice-cream that he only want a small one!! Because Oliver is sick, Kevin got to be on his own for his first day at soccer camp. That wasn't probably the worse thing, but the fact that he got a fork in his eye was much worse. At lunch another boy from the team got upset and threw a fork which unfortunately hit Kevin strait in his eye. So tomorrow we'll be the first to try get hold of a nurse to check Kevin's eye. Because if it isn't anything to worry about Kevin would want to be back at soccer camp as soon as possibly. But his eye need to go first! Hoping Oliver doesn't get any worse....... Not looking forward to tomorrow!

Midsummer 2014 in Röstånga
Midsummer at Röstånga Camping with Malin & Andreas with kids and Ann & Tobbe with kids. The traditional Midsummer food with herring, egg, potatoes and strawberries was obligatory. A part from that it was a recovery weekend for all of us. We just did what we felt like doing. No stress, no musts and just an easy weekend with great friends. Röstånga Camping is extremely suitable for families with kids. There's things to do for all ages in all weather which we appreciate very much at this period in our life. We did even get to go for a couple of runs in tough terrain in the forest which was needed.
Hope you all have a nice Midsummer weekend and that the herring didn't made you hangover the day after! :o)

Last Soccer practice for this season
Adult against parents in Kevin's last soccer practice for this season. Kids won of course!! I'm very impressed by Kevin's coaches. They're so good, positive, fair and inspiring for the kids. And with clear rules both as players and how you act towards your team members. I'd never imagine that the quality of a coach to a team of 7-year-old would be at this level.

High Chaparal
An absolutely fabulous weekend with fam Bendtsen 2 hours up north in the forest of Småland and the famous Cowboy town High Chaparal. For the first time our boys got their own guns. We're not in favour of kids and guns, but for this trip we simply had to make an exception. The weather cleared up and the hostel was much nicer then expected and the Småland mentality can't make you anything else but calm and happy.
And yes, it's Magnus Samuelsson - worlds strongest man for many years!

Look he's biking
Oliver prompted for us to take out Kevin's old bicycle. We told him it was not a good idea as he can't bike on that one. But he still told us he WANTED TO. So..... we did as he told us with the message that he would just fall over and hurt himself. As if that frightened Oliver? Nopp!! And 5 min later he came biking without support in the garden. Not even 4 years old and he's biking like he has not been doing anything else. That's how we all know Oliver so what's new. Round and round and round the house with the biggest smile on his face. There was no way he wanted to stop biking. Even during the nice BBQ in Malmö with grandpa and friends he was biking!
Same night Oliver and Pernilla went on a 8km biking round with strawberries while Kevin and Daniel went fishing.
There was one little boy who slept well this night!! :o)
