New Year BodyCombat

As an instructor in Body Combat, I couldn't have asked for a better last class of the year. On the morning of New Years Eve the room was filled, the champagne glasses were filled, the music a little higher and the punches and kicks also a little higher! Highlight of the year as an instructor!
The only little detail when getting dressed in the morning trying to find some extra nice clothes was Oliver's comments:
- Mum, what is this?
- My training clothes for todays class.
- Are you dressing up as a hen? (holding the feather boa in his hand!)
- Hmm, nooo.
- A glittery hen? (now also holding up my dress!)
- Hmpf!

GoodBye 2014, Hello 2015!!

Said Goodbye to 2014 and Hello to 2015 in best possible way with cosy clothes, a 300m2 "cottage" in the forest with Takeaway, champagne, hours by the lakes fishing for salmons. Family Berg together with Bendsen couldn't ask for a better New Year celebration.
I'm hoping to fill the new year with lots more of exactly that! Quality time with people in surroundings that give energy!!
I can strongly recommend Bondemölla as a recreation place for your soul and to fill you freezer with salmon!

New Year

No fancy clothes,  no stress,  plenty of fresh air, relaxed people and two salmon on our hooks. That was how we rounded off 2014 and welcomed 2015. Loved it!
Hope you all had a wonderful evening and we wish you a successful new year.

Olivers quality time with grandma and grandpa in Malmö

Grandma and Grandpa in Malmö wanted to borrow Oliver for a day. They make their own soap, baked a cake and had a wonderful day together. Kevin and Daniel took the opportunity to go to the Cinema and watch a movie together. I took that opportunity to clean the house = quality time for all family members at it's best!! :o)

Grandma and Klasen

The day after meeting Santa Claus and getting lots of gifts it was a highlight that grandma and Klasen spent half a day with us and our new presents. Daniel had to drive to Malmö to work since it is now freezing degrees outside and the parking houses in Malmö City need salt on the ground.
Thanks for spending the day with us and to help us eat the Xmas left overs!

Magic Saturday

Dad spent all day at Adolfssons place digging for their coming garden project. Toys for boys, anything with a motor seems to impress both old and young boys!
Then it was time for the Magical Show by Kevin and his friends who has been learning magic for half a year now. They were so good and Kevin did well when he took on the stage!

The evening was a Xmas light with mum, Klasen och all Persson's members with relatives in Eslöv. Taco buffe and Santa Claus and more laughers than ever. Even if it's always nice to have the big family gathered on the real Xmas 24th, this way made it possible to talk to everyone and the amount of gifts was much more realistic.
The best gift was the news Johanna and Daniel shared when telling us about their little baby expected in June! Congratulations to both of you and Thanks for a fantastic evening!

Early mornings

Our kids have never let us sleep in any morning. And now 8 years later it's still the case. Sometimes i could die to be able to sleep for as long as i want. But i know it won't be for much longer than with kids at home. So instead we try to make the best of our breakfasts when it's pitch black outdoor and no one else is awake;  candle light is very cozy and effect full and we're often the first ones at the bakery and therefor get bread straight from the oven!

Sick all night

Oliver started to throw up at 11 pm and didn't get to keep anything until 11 am next morning. He was totally exhausted and had to stay home with mum one day and dad the following day.  The best thing with kids is that they recover incredibly quick.

Day with mum

While dad fixed the last details with the boat before its winter storage i had a day with the kids. Magician lesson for Kevin. Cleaning the hen house. Play at the gym.  Grocery shopping. Baking a carrot cake.
In the middle of this to-do day we were fortunate to get spontaneous visit by grandma and Klasen with a bag of jummy saffronbuns. Sometime The timing is just right! Thank You!

Cozy Friday

Every second Friday grandma and grandpa pick up the kids early from day-care and school.  Today they started the fireplace and had a cozy afternoon together.
The evening was rounded of with dinner at the local restaurant Pappi's together with Åsa and Micke followed by coffee at their place.

New hearing test

We went to see Kevin's ear doctor in Eslöv today to see how Kevin's hearing is progressing. With deep concentration he did a very thorough test which resulted in another confirmation that he hear perfect (thank God) with his right ear but not so good with his left ear. At his age the test result is more trustworthy than ever and now they'll start to investigate more in finding the reason for his bad hearing. Because just looking as far in the ear as a doctor can from the outside there's nothing found to be wrong or malformations. A CT scan will soon follow and it will be very interesting to see what is causing this and especially what can be done to help him hear better.

Santa

After a family day in Halmstad Santa was knocking on the door just before dinner to check up on the kids that they were behaving as should and to deliver a calendar each to help Kevin and Oliver to count down to Xmas!
Oliver kept wondering how extremely alike Santa was grandma.....

Busy but very good Sunday

Finally got our boat up for a clean up and preparation for its winter storage. Great help from kids and always so helpful Göte.
Then kids were  fortunate to be able to stay with Lena and Håkan where they got to relax in the spa and play with their gorgeous dogs Felix and Saga.
In the meantime Daniel worked hard with the boat while I had 3 classes GRIT  during the members-event at the gym. Later we all met up at grandma and Klasens place for a delicious turkey dinner with apple-pie for desert. Tonight wasn't an exception from super delicious tasting food. Problem is that you eat to much.
When I got home my dear friend had returned the Halloween clothes she borrowed yesterday. Imagine what a little card with a very nice note on from a dear friend can make me feel very lucky to know she feel the same way as I do for her. What a love story!!

Support

Finally Oliver have found a sport he's very enthusiastic about; wrestling. And Kevin have left his soccer completely for bandy.
Even if all our Tuesdays and Thursdays is driving Oliver to practice,  stay and support him a little while, drive Kevin to his practice, stay and cheer for him, then back to pick up Oliver and then back to pick up Oliver, it's such a blessing to be able to be there for your kids and support your children in there sport interests. What can be more important?  No matter if you feel like a chauffeur and stressing home from work so they can be served some energy before training,  we see it as an important task that we can't downprioritise for anything.  The little late dinner those nights where you get to sit down and chat about their training is priceless.

Candle dip

Kevins and Olivers grandma came up with the great idea of enrolling to a candlelight-making half day course at Hallongården. This Sunday it was time to make our own candles. And so we did!  What a pleasant half day in wonderful atmosphere.  And with a whole box of candle lights with me home. Enough to have light all Christmas.

Free isn't always best

We got a boat trailer free of charge from Daniels colleague which we were very happy and pleased of. ..until today when it was time to take up the boat. The trailer didn't match our boat and we couldn't get it up!
When you involve grandparents to take care of our kids and you spend almost a whole day not getting anything done you quickly want to forget that day. Today was that day!
But at least or kids had a good day together with grandma.

Autumn day with mum

Biscuits and milk packed in our backpack when we went with our bikes for a ride towards the countryside. Ended up at Jakobsson's ranch! Had picnic in the stables. Mariette said her two ponies were free today and we were welcome to take them out for a ride. The boys said yes, so that's what we did. Two wonderful ponies, two happy boys (one singing higher than the other) and one smiling mother in between for an hours ride this fantastic autumn day! Sometimes life with two energetic kids are the worst possible I can imagine, but luckily in between there's moments like this!

First egg

Our first own egg from our own hen!! Hopefully the egg production is now started and that even the others will be triggered to start producing.

Nail polish of Fathers day

Pedicure and nail polish is Oliver's passion! Hmmm.... Daniel is not that very proud, but Oliver is and that's what counts!
Woke grandma and Klasen up with fresh breadrolls this morning. Had a nice Sunday morning breakfast together before heading home to clean our garden a little more before winter. But with help from all family members you get lots done in few hours.
