RIP Hasse

Today our favourite Hasse couldn't fight the injuries his massive heart attack left him with almost 2 weeks ago.
Rest in peace Hasse. You've left a huge hole in family Bergs hearts. Will miss you terribly.
Thinking of all his family members.

To keep our mood up we had pizza BBQ with family Adolfsson and Sofie and Rickard tonight at our place. Wonderful night and we sat outside until late.

Alone w dad

Mum on business trip means cosy restaurant visit for dinner with dad.

More rain

With heavy rain and lots on the agenda comes the migraines. Getting Persson's driveway finished was most important today and I think we were several of us who slept very well after today.
Lena, myself and the boys went to Tirups Herbfarm. Met up with grandpa. But it never stopped to rain so we didn't stay long. But some strawberry plants and fresh herbs came with us home.
Went to see grandma with a little Mothers Day present.
Had dinner with Persson's and then straight back home and dived to bed. My headache is killing me I'd been waiting since this morning to get a moment of silence and to lay down and get some rest.

Hectic rainy week

A very rainy week, 3 days introduction at school and soccer training for Kevin, play with friends, snail hunting and Daniel doing some landscaping in Furulund. It felt good to round of the week at Pappis restaurant with friends and a glass of red.

Kevins last scout meeting this season was held on the beach in Barsebäck.

Helped a soccer team in Furulund with fitness training they'll hardy forget;-) It's so fun to help others challenge their fitness level and to make them successful in what ever they take on.

When realising that our roof project will cost much more then budgeted we decided to quickly fix our flowerbed so that it can look kind of tidy until we can afford to proceed with our wooden deck. Oliver and Daniel did a great work together.

Watched the champion league final together with mum and Klas.

Looking back

Looking back a yesterdays performance and are looking at it in two ways; extremely well done to just complete a half marathon no matter time together with great people! (not to say the least for Ann who I happen to talk into running half the race even if she wasn't meant to run at all!)
On the other hand it's a very bad performance and discipline because we've known about this race for more then half a year and still not able to show up more prepared.
What doesn't kill you make you stronger! And I decide here and now to look at it as a good performance BUT I'll never again loose my discipline like this!!

Sibling love

While in Gothenburg our boys were split up because they're constantly fighting and have been for the last couple of month. So we thought this would be a great idea. But when we got them back yesterday hell broke loose totally. They couldn't even look the same way without having to argue and eventually one of them had to pinch or hit the other. They broke one lamp in the roof when bouncing a soccer ball, ran in with dirty shoes, and threw their shoes all around the hallway when coming in........... As a parent you become very good as counting to 10 over and over again!!!

Gothenburg half marathon

Kevin is getting his quality time fishing with grandma and grandpa in Malmo while Oliver is having time of his life with Lena and Hakan and their camper van. This while rest of the family tried to run the worlds biggest half marathon race in Gothenburg. Hottest day so far this year and unbelievably many people. Not any result we're very proud of. But we both finished the race and had a great day with wonderful people from our gym and another gym from Eslöv.
Big thank you to our lovely family who wanted to look after our boys!! Without you this wouldn't be possible.

Råå Vallar

 

 
Even if not perfect beach weather and hardy any summer temperatures, we deicided to go to the beach for lunch and minigolf. A bit windy and chilly, but always nice by the waterfront.

Went to say hi to Sofie at her work before visiting great grand parents which we haven't seen for years in Helsingborg. Nice to see them even if very frustrating that the boys couldn't sit still for 5 seconds. Being 85+ and have two very active boys running around must have been a chock.

Had TakeAway on our way home where we stopped by Jakobsson's ranch for coffee and corn.

Tapas night

Daniel went to Germany to fill up our storage with beer and wine while I went to pick up Kevin at his scout camp. But first I had to rush to Lena and Håkan to get help to get two ticks removed from Oliver.
In the evening we went to mum and Klasen for a wonderful tapas dinner with strawberries for dessert. Oliver surprised us all night. First he joined Kevin and Sofie in the pool. Then when he was on his way to the toilet he accidentally pulled the special kids seat over his head. But no way we could get it of him. And we know too many fire-fighters in the area to call them for help:-) So rescue operation a la Daniel had to take place. Luckily with successful result and a relieved Oliver.

Scout camp

Our little Kevin was dropped of at a scout camp today with 400 others scouts!! We joined his group for their first mission in the forest.
Checking the phone several times during the evening. No missed calls from a homesick son.

Premier!

First swim in grandma and Klasens pool. One family member is a happy camper!!

Saab

Our pore Saab is getting old and today we had to give it to good Håkan hands. He was both optimistic and furious from time to time. But we can never express how thankful we are for your help. I'm glad it's soon time for Daniel to be the hard working person when your driveway for your camper van will be done. So we can "pay" you back.

BBQed and challenged each other with new moves together with Bendsen this wonderful sunny evening.

If anyone think Oliver is screaming because he's close to dying, don't worry, we're just awful parents making him shower!

Cows

Went with family Adolfsson and Bendsen to see cows go crazy when being let out from a winter in the stables out to the grass paddock for the rest of the summer. Very amusing and kids though it was great. Especially when one cow jumped the fence!

A great afternoon in the garden before Chrille with family came for BBQ and catch up. Long time since last and about time to have a date. Very nice to see you all!!

BBQ in the sun

Finally a warm enough day to BBQ and hang outdoor. Tonight we were invited to Perssons for a hockey night together with wonderful food and not so good hockey.
Thanks for spontaneous invitation and great relaxing night together!!
