Walpurgis night

 

 

This day and evening became just better and better. The Walpurgis night was celebrated in company of great friends, happy kids and still fantastic weather. Thank you family Ericsson for tonight!

Summer is here!

 

Finally a day with closer to 20 degrees!! Family Berg is enjoying it fully.

Tomato plants

Kevin and Oliver planted some tomato seeds which they've promised to take good care of so that we can have our own tomatoes in our salad this summer.

Family Olsson

Got completely spoiled tonight at Robban and Marias place. Fantastic BBQ and beautiful rhubarb pay with a well chosen red wine. The kids had great fun and we went home with a pleased feeling. Always very nice to spend time with family Olsson.

First outdoor lunch

 

Mum is back from work in UK and it's one of the first warm days in a very long time. Dad is in Germany buying "soda" so that we'll be alright all summer. ;-)
With granddad visiting all morning we've had a great day. Swedish meatballs, potatoes w brown sauce was served on our wooden deck in the sun. Very nice!
Then we did a good tidying up in the garden.

Last day camping

Our last full day as campers in Olofström offered a glorious sunny day. A long walk in the forest with simple picnic and a visit to the great big playground in city and pizza at the local restaurant made this day a very relaxed day with as much fresh air as we could handle. None of us had any problem falling asleep tonight.

Thanks to all who has visited and kept us company this Easter weekend despite the extremely cold winter like weather,

Easter 2012

The coldest Easter for as long as I can remember! Minus degrees and snow!!! But we manage to make it into a great Easter anyway with both Easter chocolate before breakfast, egg painting and BBQ. Had nice visits by cousin Tobbe with family!

Another day in a cold paradis

Another awesome day with great family and friends. Still freezing cold, but most of the day we had sunny and dry weather. This changed later during the day and we became pretty good at indoor activities. Playing games, go shopping and go for a run was just some of the things we got up to. Rounded the day of with one of the best bbq's so far this year. Lena made the dinner even better when serving strawberry and melon with vanilla yoghurt! Yam! Healthy as well which made it taste even better.
Today was a cold but very enjoyable day except that we experienced the 2 worst minutes of out lives. We realized in the afternoon, all of a sudden, that Oliver wasn't with any of us adults. Actually none had seen him for quit a while. I walked around the campervan to confirm to my terror that he wasn't there. In just a second later we were several people involved checking around everybody's campervans and in and around the lake, forest and road. All the pictures I got in my head while running around wasn't pleasant ones. After a short while (which felt like forever) Rickard came with him. He'd been wondered of among the campervans and was relaxed resting leaning towards the fence next to the road. He wasn't bothered about the situation at all and looked strangely at us when hugging him hard. I'm therefore extra happy for my family tonight and feel very blessed.

Breakfast

No matter what breakfast we've bought, our kids always like our neighbours breakfast better. Not sure they always appreciate the early visits.
Today is another really cold, windy but clear day and we're enjoying the life of camping fully.

Camping in Olofström

Finally installed at Helens camping. Our first camping weekend this year.
