Santa Claus is coming to town

Even this year Santa visited us and gave Kevin and Oliver a calendar with 24 xmas gifts to make the count down to Xmas even more exciting. It was a very generous and kind Santa which Kevin guessed was grandma when Santa had left.

More Pergo floor

Today became a long working day. Kevin and Olivers day-care was lucky to be the chosen ones for a Pergo project where we need a new floor tested in an rough environment. Even if it meant working until after 8pm, I think that their playroom got a nice facelift.
Tonight was also wrestling night for Kevin. Again he did very well. Might be that having his best friend Alma there to watch made him work extra hard.

Now even out bedroom has got Pergo flooring! With help from our friend Chrille we made it easily in half a day. Paint on the walls and more interior details to the room in still to come. But just the floor made a big improvement to the room.
Thanks Chrille for your great help today and your company when having giant shrimps dipped in garlic sauce for dinner.

Family & Friends day

I took the day of work to spend a full day with the family. We had breakfast together before walking across the road to the open preschool where we played, sang, drank coffee and ate a second breakfast. Went home and just relaxed. In the afternoon grandma and grandpa came and picked up the kids. We had a shower and got ready for the awaited Christmas dinner/ bowling with great friends. And what a night it became. Fantastic Xmas buffet and great game of bowling. Daniel won in his group and I won in mine. Not that winning is the most important, but I wouldn't take a second place very well;o)
There was very many laughter tonight, but the best one was when Daniel asked Uffe for the phone number to the taxi company. Uffe answered 11 21 12 not thinking about how much Daniel had had to drink and not thinking about to say the number INCL the area code..... and you can imagine yourself where you end up if you start dialling 112...... He was kindly told that this wasn't the place to get anyone to take us home!!!

Kidnapping

I've been planning a secret surprise for a while for Daniel, Anna and Emil. They got the information for a week ago to be ready at 7:30 this Sunday morning, properly dressed. I arranged babysitters for both their and our kids which they didn't know about either. So picked them up and took them to Grand Hotel in Lund for a huge ecological breakfast. No kids running around, freshly baked bread, we could eat for as long as we wanted....... = heaven for parents that never get to sit down for very long at a time! We enjoyed it fully and they were thankful to be kidnapped and seemed to appreciate to get away for a moment. Thanking grandpa and Phuong and Emil's parents for making this Sunday morning a energy booster!! Without you it wouldn't be possible to arrange!! The most amazing thing was that Daniel and I didn't just get the kids looked after, they had even done some cleaning in places where you tend to forget to clean. We feel extremely spoiled!!With such start of the day we had plenty of energy to fix the garden for winter and even prepare the garden shed to be isolated next coming weekends. As if this Sunday wasn't already too good to be true, we ate dinner at Fam Adolfsson´s place as planned since some time back. Nice and very relaxed as always.

Fab Saturday

This Saturday started with kids gymnastic which I'm now also the instructor in. Had lots of fun with the energetic kids from 9.30-10.30. 15 min later it was time for me to instruct in Body Combat which is always a highlight of the day.
After lunch Daniel and Kevin took the bike to Furulund to see Family Katz. While Oliver took a snooze I cleaned the whole house. Then we asked some good friends in Lomma if they was keen on joining us for some takeaway. They were! So went to Lomma for a spontaneous dinner.
When we got home Oliver fell sound asleep while Kevin wanted to practise his new interest; spelling. These were among the first names he wanted to write!! ;o)

Cold

It's been some days now since we updated our blog. We're struggling to get over the typical winter cold. Oliver was first out and struggles with fever and cough. Then Pernilla was of to UK to work for three days where the same cold developed. But no point in being depressed. Just take care of each other, eat plenty of vitamins, try to sleep a lot and stay at home so we do not infect others. Would not be fair if we spread the infection onwards.

Nice lunch

Very nice lunch was served at Maria and Robbans place this Sunday. It's a pity that it's so long between the times we meet. It's always so very nice to spend time with this family.

Today I purchased the fastest set of cross-country gear! Way too expensive, but if they will make the 90km skiing to a little less painful experience it's worth every krona!!
