Hut

The new activity at home now when it's getting colder and wetter outdoor is to build a hut in our living room. Today they did a two-room-hut with the help from Daniel.

33rd birthday

To become 33 years old isn't as becoming 25, that's for sure. Had a calm birthday which was nice. We'll have a brunch with the families in a couple of weeks so today wasn't expected to be filled with celebrations. But when Kevin sang the birthday song on his own in the morning, I still felt very celebrated. Then when 15 kids sang together for me during gymnastic class later in the morning, I felt even more celebrated! And when mum invited us for dinner my birthday felt complete! (even if Daniel spent most of the day playing golf:o/)
THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes!

Isak and Kevin in action

Went with Kevin to Isak and his family coz it was time for another training session-a-la-Klassiker together. Cross country skiing in a southern Swedish style means inline and ski sticks! Went really well and it's always nice with outdoor training. The kids had a ball and it was hard to get Kevin to come home with me.
Sunday afternoon and night was very relaxing. Prepared Sunday roast while the kids turned the house up side down with the neighbour girl Matilda.

Home with dad

Today Kevin went to the dentist. He was very good and got praise for his nice teeth. Because of the bad weather they did mainly indoor activities. Balloons and balls are very handy to have in the house to get through the day with two energetic boys!

All Blacks - Rugby World Champs 2011

Nice weekend with kids gymnastic on Saturday followed by dinner with family Axelsson´s at our place. I was successful with my fish dish and the ice-cream that followed was as always appreciated by the kids. So was the wine for the adults! Great evening with great company and full action from the kids.

On Sunday morning it was time for the Rugby World Championship final between France and NZ. Not the most convincing win - but still a win! Congrats to the All Blacks and NZ!!!
On Sunday afternoon Kevin and Daniel went to see Richard play ice-hockey. Was sound asleep when we got back home.

Fabulous Friday

Because of a status report on Facebook last week, we got a Friday away from the kids for one night. My cousin understood the need for us to get some recovery time while she took the chance to get quality time with our kids. What else could feel better right now? I can't think of anything! We had dinner ready when she arrived. After dinner we hurried to get out of the house. We walked down to her apartment. Changed to running gear. Went for a 5km+ run together. Picked up a rented dvd, Pirates of the Caribbean, on our way back. Quick shower, then cheese & crackers & wine, dvd and 100% relaxing in the sofa. Went to bed! Woke up a couple of times during the night, but at least it wasn't because of someone screaming for our attention! We could just turn around and fall asleep again. Nice!
Cant thank Johanna enough for this fantastic gesture! And best of all; it apparently didn't scare her of so she asked if she could do it again. Trust me, we're not the ones stopping you!!;-)

Working from home

Today I was working from home since I had to see a doctor because my jaw keeps being sore and dislocated from time to time. They said they needed to send me to get an X-ray before they could guess the reason. So now I'm waiting for the invitation to the x-ray. At least we're on to it and hopefully there could be an explanation and end to the pain. There are positive and negative things with working from home. It's not very social, but you get allot done and best thing is that you can walk around in a One-piece, sheepskin slippers and without make-up. Not to mention the homemade coffee with dark chocolate!

Swimming

Decided to have a family day at the swimming hall today. Went to Lomma and had a cosy morning together in the warm pool they have there. Unfortunately it ended a little earlier then planned as Kevin refused to listen when we asked him to take it easy when throwing the toys around as there were more people there then us. But no, he didn't want to take any notice. So that was the end of that!

Party

Celebrating the 40 year old tonight with a big party. Great company, fantastic food turned out to be an awesome night! Thanks Håkan and Lena for tonight!

Sleepless at the Bergs

This fellow badly wanted to sleep long before his normal lunch snooze today. But because he kept us awake most of the night he wasn't allowed to sleep any earlier then normal. Better to slick to the normal routines as long as possible hoping that one day and one year he will get that that routine does NOT include any activities night time!

Got my assessment - Now a licensed Combat Instructor!!

Finally I have the whole world as my workplace. The Les Mills concept is that you as licensed instructor can hold a class at any gym around the world who belong to Les Mills. This is originally from New Zealand, so when we go there 2013 I'll for sure join some classes!
But here at home I belong to this fantastic gym http://www.timesportclub.se/ Tomorrow night I'll have my next Combat class - and I'm just warning you who will join that I'm more inspired and motivated then ever!! Prepare yourself for blood, sweat and tears (happy tears that is!)

Coffee at Johannas new apartment

Finally we got ourselves together and everyone was healthy enough to go and visit Johanna at her new apartment. It's the apartment across Pernillas first apartment so it was fun to see the building and apartment type again. We had cinnamon rolls with us which we got served good coffee with. It was nice to see how she now lives. And I'm sure all the fingerprints from our kids will keep her busy cleaning for a couple of days;-)
Johanna was kind and have mum a One Piece which was to small for her. Looks awful but she claims it's very comfortable.

Lunchdate

After a crappy night with interrupted sleep we had a great slow morning. Prepared lunch for our lunch visitors: Jenny and Kim. Long time since we saw them last so we had some catch up to do. Later in the afternoon we went to drop of some things at different locations. First stop was Furulund dropping of a suitcase and a blanket we’d borrowed. Kevin insisted to stay at grandma and Klasen's place while the rest of the family continued on to look for cross country gear for Pernilla. We found a great wind stopper set; jacket and pants for half the price. Then picked up Kevin on our way to family Jakobsson´s place to drop of some clothes. They served coffee, cheese and crackers. Maja came with us home so she and Kevin could keep play while we prepared dinner.

Gym, Birthday party and Dinner

Saturday morning started with a fun time at the gym with Oliver and Kevin. They had a fantastic time and so did their mum. Then home for some lunch before it was time for Kevin to go to Isak’s birthday party which went in Lightning McQueen theme. A fire truck and fire-fighter came and delivered the birthday cake!! All the details were included to make sure the kids had a great time. Later in the afternoon we went to Åsa and Micke´s place for the traditional dinner which the men always cook. It was a success even this time. But we excused ourselves and went home fairly early as we still aren’t allowed to sleep all night through because of Oliver:o( But it was nice being social for a couple of hours and to let the kids play together.

Lofoten, Northern Norway

Pernilla was working in Lofoten, Northern Norway for 3 days. We were showing the new range for 2012 on our rebuilt huge truck. It was a appreciated and great way of showing our new floor decors. That I was joining during the last three days of the Road show in Norway which was in the fantastic Lofoten area of Norway made the extremely long days worth while! I'll let the pictures speak for them selves.

In the meantime the kids and Daniel was having a great time at home. One day on their own, one day celebrating Sofie´s 19th birthday and one day with the company of granddad och grandma. But it was a great feeling when the family was all back home and everything was as normal again.

Raspberries

I hope it's only good for you to eat litres of raspberries during a couple of weeks. I must have reached over 15 litres over 6 weeks from our own little raspberry garden. Only Oliver and I pick and eat from the plants so there's plenty! These plants is by far the best buy. It's made my homemade musli taste like dessert every day for the last 6 weeks. Lets just hope you cant over consume raspberries!

Lovely Sunday

Interrupted sleep because the Berg junior can't sleep all night without making sure we get up and give him something to drink is since his birth a normal night for us. Some periods you dont let it effect you too much, but at the moment we're pretty sick of always feeling dead tired.
Anyway, despite our poor amount of sleep, we had a lovely Sunday. Mum biked to get fresh bread for breakfast while dad and kids boiled eggs. Enjoyed breakfast for a long time. Then did some laundry and played with the kids until Vivvi and Isak came and joined us for lunch. After lunch Vivvi and mum went rollerblading 11km. Rounded of with intervall training at the gym. A very nice and relaxed kick-off of our getting-in-shape-for-the-Swedish-Classicer challenge. Vivvi has the same non-competitive attitude so it will surely be a very calm challenge. Not!!!;-) It's going to be a fantastic journey with fantastic company and of course impressive results! Isn't that right Vivvi?!
A couple of hours in family Jacobsson's garden in the afternoon. Ate the rest of the shrimps and Kevin and Daniel cut their grass before continuing on for a stop at mum and Klasen place. The visit was meant to be a quick one as Kevin had asked several times during the day if he couldn't see Klasen, but ended up including both dinner and dessert for the boys. We like allot! Thanks!

Gym + Fishmania

1st of October and weather as if it was July. Helped out with the kids gym class. Had a ball! Especially when seeing both Oliver and Kevin enjoying themselves as they did. Looking forward to take the kids there following Saturdays.
Got lunch company: granddad and Phuong! Enjoyed their company and the great weather. They are of to Vietnam next week!
Daniel was on the sea all day fishing. Joined up later at the Jakobsson's place where we ate fish, shrimps and drank a new favourite winter drink. Anyone coming to our place will for sure get served this drink. Thanking Mariett and Bengt for a wonderful evening!
