Playdate with family Henberg-Johansson

Vivvi with kids came this morning with bread for breakfast. After a good breakfast we went to the new playground and had a great time with the boys.
They were really good at walking both there and back. So all the pancakes we ate for lunch was well deserved.
Thanks for another great play date!

Yogi Bear

Had a slow morning today which we all deserved. Then we continued cleaning out our storage. But this time the garden shed. Didn't get as much done as yesterday because dear friends invited themselves for a coffee break. I love when friends spontaneously invite themselves.
Then Kevin went with grandma and Klasen to watch the 3D movie Yogi Bear in Lund.
The evening was spent cheering for Denmark in the handball final.

Perfect evening

After a day where we got much done around and in our house at the same time as Kevin was having a ball with his idol and his girlfriend, I got a perfect night. Dinner ready, dishes done, fire in the fireplace, cosy candles around the house, a happy and pleased Kevin in the sofa, newly fed and happy Oliver, Daniel at work for the rest of the night and one of the best movies that I for ones will allow myself to sit down and watch without thinking of the things that I could rather do - the night can't get much better. Well, the family could have been more complete with everyone at home, but since I don't mind being alone I'll enjoy the night fully. Hope you all have a just as relaxed and good night! And if you haven't seen this movie, do!

Wonderful Saturday

Today’s plan was to clean out the carport storage. And what a project that was!! I didn't think we collect that much. But I realized that we do. We got one huge pile of things that went straight to the recycling station and another pile just as big which will be sold at the second hand market.
Kevin got the advantage of going with Sofie and Rickard to the big playhouse: Skattkammarön in Lund all day. He totally loved it! Many Thanks for spending time with Kevin today!! And we appreciated it too as we got so much done without having to bore Kevin.

Caring

Kevin has really started care about his little brother. Here he insisted to sit and watch Oliver when Daniel was too lazy to do it.
Sibling love when it's at it's best!

Handball

Watching Sweden play semi final against France in World Championship in handball at Jakob and Linas place. Nice game, good snacks and great company.

Ready

Family Berg is ready for the coming holiday in the Swedish alps. Finally I've managed to get my family with me on a skiing holiday. I'm sure they'll love it. And with new ski gear to all of us and family Katz as great company, it can only become a good week. Looking forward so much!

Carolas cafe

Today Karolina and her little Hugo visited. We started at Carolas Cafe. Then went for a long walk in the wonderful sunny but cold weather.

Fun with friends

After baby swim with Oliver today my dear friends Anna and Tess came with their kids. I hurried to pick Kevin up from day-care so he could join the chaotic play with all the six kids! Then Alma also came by and joined. The house was filled and we had coffee in our cups. The kids played and we mums looked in a post order catalogue while sipping our coffee. Found some nice bikinis that we'll order.
Thank God for all my friends who is also on maternity leave. What would I've done without you!

Back to day-care

Last week was spent taking care of stomach sick boys. The weekend was kind of slow which made it possible to recover well and today it's time for day-care again and it feels as if we all need it.
Since yesterday was filled with activities at Mariett's place. (horse riding, cleaning the stable, jumping it the hay, play in the garden, drinking coffee, eating pizza bread and boxing at the gym later in the evening) I'm looking forward to a slow day today where I will be fixing some things with my Nuggz Boots and try to relax with Oliver in between. Wish me luck!;-)

Pizzabread

This is some of the pizza bread made this morning!

Grandpa

Daniel went of to Malmo to work after breakfast. Kevin and I started to bake pizza bread. Grandpa came and visited us which is always appreciated by us all.
Hope you are all having a great Sunday!

Coffee stock filled up

Our coffee stock is now filled up and we're all healthy and energetic again. So all of you who came and visited us this last week but had to turn around in the door because of our stomach flue are now very welcome back! We have cleaned the house and toilets and have fresh coffee and Kevin's specialty; nigge.... I mean chocolate balls waiting for you!

Back to normal

The whole family is back to normal again. Daniel is back at work and I'm stuck with the kids.
Oliver is now sitting on his own and therefore most time is spent on the floor so he better can follow what Kevin does. There's nothing better than a big brother!

Talkative

As mentioned before today had the worst possible start with one with fever, one throwing up and the third has moved in to the toilet.
But slowly Kevin got his energy back and by that also extremely talkative! I'm still the only one feeling alright. Or as good as you can feel when having to clean up all this shi...!
It felt as if my ears was bleeding from constant talk from Kevin. So when he had taken almost all oxygen in the house I had to take the kids for a walk to get some fresh air. Sometimes that makes you feel slightly better.
I dont even wish my worse enemy this situation.

Third one down

Oliver was the next one to get the flue. Threw up all over the place this morning. The second later he was looking at us with scared eyes and then started to smile. I'm pleased he doesn't really understand what is happening.

Second one down

Daniel got the flue tonight and has been visiting the bathroom several times.
Kevin on the other hand is back to normal and talking constantly!
Hope the rest of you wont be visited by this flue. It's not a friendly one.

High fever

Kevin had still very high fever tonight. Has been sleeping much in the sofa during the day. His stomach is still kind of upset.
Unfortunately Daniels parents drove all the way from Malmo to surprise us. But when they found out that Kevin had an upset stomach and very high fever they did the right decision and went back home again. It would be very sad if they also got sick. They dropped of some very nice clothes to both boys. Thank you very much! Hope you drop by soon again.
You can also see Oliver's new style when sleeping!

Sick

Within 2 hours yesterday Kevin went from happy and energetic to tired with fever. Poor little boy got higher and higher fever during the night. Slept alright most of the night until he threw up in his bed and came crying. The fever stayed high and the upset stomach settled down during the morning. But poor Kevin seemed pretty sick and Oliver and I tried to serve and spoil him all day to make him feel just a little better.

Family Bowling

Today was the big day for Family Bowling! We had invited six other families to an hour bowling in Malmö. I don’t know any of our friends who don’t think competing and winning is important. No matter if it’s against husband, wife, kids or your fiends – winning is always the goal!
Unfortunately Daniel won our round, but I must add that he only just won. If it wasn’t because of a lucky last ball, I would have won. But I’m not bitter coz at least I beat our friend Mikey playing on the track next to us. He scored 75 and I did 124. He can’t be very proud! Tiihii…
We thank all our friends for a lovely day together. Love spending time with all of you!

More snow

Finally a night where all four of us were home. Always nice to have dinner together. Then we played boxing and bowling on Wii Sports on TV. I better get use to not winning as both Kevin and Daniel are too good at these TV games.
With Kevin asleep, a wild fire in the fireplace, a good game from World Games in handball on TV and a happy Oliver on my stomach I had a very relaxing night.

Hugo and Karolina

After dropping of Kevin at day-care today I went to see Hugo and Karolina. First training, then lunch and coffee. And of course playing with the kids and lots of girls talk!

I love them anyway

My boys doesn't always look cute on all pictures.;-)
Today I went to babyswim with Oliver. Then on a nice coffee break at the Adolfssons before a calm night at home. Daniel went out on his nightshift before 6pm so it was just me and the boys. I wonder why no-one surprise us with a visit on days like this when it's pretty calm and lonely.

The night of contrasts

I think I've experienced the night of contrasts tonight. I don't think it has ever happened that Kevin has gone to bed crying. But tonight we had an unnecessary fight over his laciness. (wonder where he has got that from!! ;o)) He couldn't be bothered changing to pyjamas. I said that I could help him but I then wouldn't read more then one book for him since I know that he can easily change to pyjamas and has been able to do so for more then a year. He said he wanted both. But since I'm still the most stubborn of us two, I won. I helped him with his clothes, but only read one book. He bawled and cried when I read the book AND when I said goodnight AND for another 15 minutes when he eventually came up. I followed him to bed again and stayed with him until he was calm and fell asleep. I guess I just experienced a typical behaviour of a 4-year-old who's testing a tired mother.
But 5 minutes after the incident with Kevin I had below moment with Oliver. Thank God the negative moments are mixed with moments like the video below. This makes you realize that you love your kids more then you can ever imagine no matter what kind of fights you have.
Hope you can see the video! Enjoy!

Visiting my colleagues at Pergo

First day back at day-care for Kevin today. Went really well and I think he's happy to be back even if he says no when we've asked him if he misses his day-care.
Then I went to check Oliver's weight and give him vaccination. Went very well too. Said nothing on any of the two injections and is now 8,6kg heavy.
Then we went to see my colleagues at Pergo. Really nice to catch up with them again.
Daniel picked up Kevin and they had an afternoon together. When I got back we had delicious dinner with shrimps, coconut milk and rice noodles. Brought our memories back to Thailand which we miss very much.
Then we got rid of the last Xmas detail; the Xmas tree before saying goodbye to Daniel who was of to another nightshift.
The rest of the night I just relaxed with the kids. Oliver is now sitting on his own!

We mothers mostly talked and dreamed about the coming Spring and Summer. We cant wait for the warmer temperatures and long light days to get here.

Superman in action

Kevin wanted to sleep in Malmo at grandma and grandpa's place last night so I took the chance of getting some of the things on the to-do-list done. The whole office is now well organised, kitchen is cleaned and half of my closet is sorted.
After a night where Oliver has kept us awake most of the time we had an early but slow. Then we went to Furulund for some coffee.

New way of cleaning our floors

Shiny clean floors in our house is the result of there "shoes" that you can slide around in and get great work for your legs at the same time as the floors get clean!
Thanks Sofie for this fantastic Xmas gift!

Pancake lunch with Schödins

Invited ourselves to Schödins for a nice pancake lunch. Always great to see you guys and Kevin love to play with William.

Maternity leave + snow + horses

Most days I'm not too keen on this maternity leave thing. But with 40cm snow, -1 degree, clear blue sky, a little pony, happy kids, a sled and a mother stupid enough to be convinced to run around with the pony and kids life is not too bad after all;-) And of course I was the stupid mother so I got my exercise today!
