Assisting chief

I always have my assistant by my side when preparing dinner. He's very helpful and I appreciate his company.
Before eating the whole family went to the swimming pool to watch Kevin in swim school. He is making big improvements every time! Klas and grandma better prepare themselves for our company most of next summer, coz that's where Kevin will want to be.

Reaching out

Oliver in action trying to reach out and touch toys. The movement is very uncontrolled, but he tries hard and are doing pretty well.

Starter

Yesterday we had dinner with Åsa, Micke and Lisa. And as always when seeing these wonderful people it's the men who rules in the kitchen while we women and kids just chat and play! It's actually kind of hard to stay away from the kitchen, but they very seldom disappoint us with their cooking. So the last couple of times I've been able to lean back and just relaxed. And this time was no excepting of successful cooking! Look at this starter for example! Thanks for another fantastic evening with wonderful tasting food!

Full on Friday

After a full on morning where granddad surprisingly visited at the play house we deserved a quiet lunch. Then Klasen visited and took Kevin part his parents before dropping him of at the café in Furulund where also Anna, Mira, Max, Lina, Alfred and Hugo relaxed with a cup of coffee and ice-cream.
Kevin wanted to play with Klas again when I went to Helsingborg with Daniel to buy and pick up a wardrobe similar to the one Kevin has, but this one is for Oliver.
This is how tired Oliver the Buddha was when we arrived to grandma and Klasen again.

Friday! ;-)

Today it's Friday again and it's time for play with the other kids at the playhouse the first couple of hours. Then we're going to have lunch at home before going to our favourite playground in Furulund with some other kids before enjoying some coffee and maybe a small cookie;-)

Monday with all the friends

We invited some friends this morning who joined us for breakfast and lots of play and fun all day long. Thanks dear friends for the company today!

Mission completed!

Yesterday we finalised the raspberry corner. And I must give my husband all cred for the great result. His new job has made him into a real handyman! ;-) I like! 

Project progressing

With Kevin at Perssons it felt like a kidsfree night yesterday. And it's always the same dilemma what you should do when without kids. One mind says do nothing and enjoy the silence and peace when there's no one running around wanting things to happen all the time (I'm refering to Kevin and not myself this time!). And one mind says you need to do all the projects around the house when being two that can help out for ones. We did both! First we started building the stoneframe around the raspberrycorner until it was too dark. Then Daniel prioritiesed to watch an old bad movie on tv while I prioritised to take a loooong shower without anyone stressing me. Funny how some things that you take for granted before you get kids suddenly become luxury!

Forgot

I forgot to show you what we got last Saturday when a colleague and her family came over for dinner. These delicious oils and vinegars. I'll keep you posted with what recipes I can come us with with there as ingredient.

Friday tradition

Kevin was feeling better today and we've all had a good night sleep so today we did what we always do on Fridays; went to the playhouse one block away. As always Anna and Lisa have fun things on the agenda for the kids.
Then we went home and had lunch. Kevin watched tv while I vacuumed the house. At 3pm Johanna picked up Kevin. He'll stay there until tomorrow when we'll have breakfast together. So tonight Daniel, Oliver and I will do more work in the garden.

Raspberries in the ground

We're not only drinking coffee and playing with others. Today we went to the doctor with Kevin who confirmed that he has a bad cold and something effecting his breathing. So after purchasing all the medicine we went home, had lunch, and then planted our raspberries and started moving the small stones which will cover the ground around the berries.

Fever

Kevin cried all night and complained about pain in his ear. We gave him painkillers and took turns with calming him down and sleeping next to him. But how well do you sleep in a kids bed?! When crying and complaining he woke Oliver who then felt hunger and complained until he got some milk. What a circus all night long. The glamour of having two kids I guess.;-)
But the day turned out to be a cold and crystal clear winter day and we just had to be outdoor a little while. So we went and bought some raspberry plants and went home and started cleaning out the bushes around our garden. Or that was what I was doing while Kevin climbed the appletree.
Then we went in and cooked dinner. Kevin is such a helping hand when preparing dinner. Today we served dad a roast with oven baked vegetables and rosemary sauce. Very nice! Especially the oven baked sweetpotatoes which reminds us about NZ for some reason.

  

New project

A new project is now started in our garden; the raspberry corner project! The boring and ugly corner next to the kitchen entrance is transformed to a raspberry heaven that will give us plenty of nice raspberries at this time of the year from now on.

Heavier and heavier

While preparing dinner I was carrying Oliver. He got heavier and heavier and when I checked in the mirror this is the reason for being so heavy. He was sound asleep!

New Friday tradition

A new Friday tradition is to spend a couple of hours at the playhouse with the fantastic Lisa and Anna who always have something fun for the kids. to do. Today we were creative painting on fruits and stamping on different things.

Sleep in

I was up ones at 5am to feed Oliver, then we slept in until 8! NICE! This is how friendly Kevin and Oliver are. We watched cartoon on tv and eventually got dressed and went to the playhouse just one block away.

Coffeebreak

It was cinnamonbun day last Monday so today we got cinnamonbun delivered by Daniels parents. What a nice surprise!

Lazy day

With Kevin at day-care again, fire in the fireplace, music from spotify and a happy baby it's hard to do anything else but to just be! Except from coffee company this morning (Anna and Alvin) and an hour by the computer doing some Nuggz work, Oliver and I have just enjoyed being lazy.
It's Sofies birthday today and we'll be going to her tonight to celebrate her 18th birthday. Until we see you tonight, Happy Birthday wishes from fam Berg. Hope you've had a fantastic day.

Lomma zoo

Kevin had very high fever yesterday and most of the night, so I kept him home with Oliver today. But he hasn't have any fever since this morning so we went to Lomma Zoo today and patted the cute animals there.

A tired boy

Full day with Alma is very tireing.

Had nothing to do today so after we had been to the bank we went to fam Ericsson and played, ate lunch and enjoyed the sunny weather.

Playhouse

Spent todays morning at the local playhouse which is all for kids! Can warmly recommend playhouse in Rinnbo.
