I’m baking and baking…..

Porridge bread-rolls are an old favourite that we’ve started to bake again. It’s sooo good and so handy because they’re just as nice even if they’ve been in the freezer. But nothing beats the taste of fresh baked bread straight from oven with butter and cheese!

Don’t want to get sick...

We’re drowning in fruits and berries in our house. A shake with all sorts of fruits and berries is my start of the day and has been for some time back. If the spring- and summer- feeling won’t come to me with warm weather, I’ll try to get the feeling anyway by starting the days like this. Healthy as well which is a plus?
With the inspiration of fruit and berries we had strawberries dipped in white chocolate for dessert yesterday! Can’t get any better then that!!

Fever-day

Today I stayed home with Kevin as he had fever yesterday. But today you can’t tell he had fever yesterday as he’s full of energy and can’t sit still. No running nose, no complaining of anything – just full action from early morning. He started the day with blowing his first balloon on his own. He’s crazy about balloons so being able to blow one up by him self was one of the biggest progresses if you ask Kevin! :o)

Kevin in the local newspaper

The week after Kevin’s birthday this was in the local newspaper! It was the Person’s family who had sent in a picture from Thailand with a Congratulation wish to Kevin. How sweet! Always full of surprises!
When Daniel showed Kevin the picture in the newspaper, Kevin just looked at the picture and then on newspaper….. –That’s me in Thailand, with the biggest smile on his face.
Thanks Fam Persson!!

Fast trains on You Tube

This is the way to view fast trains on You Tube according to Kevin! Why sit in the normal boring way when you can do like this?

Brazil Jack

Today we visited the circus Brazil Jack in Malmö! Granddad did the electrical check on the whole place and had got tickets for tonight’s show. Me, mum, dad, mum’s dad and dad’s parents got first-row seats!! Could almost reach out and touch the dogs, horses and the clown!! Can't get much better then that!
We got to Malmö early so we did some shopping in the shoppingmall on the other side of the road. Got some nice and fast sneakers!
Thanks granddad for the tickets and the amazing show!

3 years old

Today our "little" boy turned 3 years old! It's unbelievable that it was 3 years ago he was born. Time flies, but I guess that's a sign of living a fun and active life so I'm not complaining.
This morning Kevin woke up at 6:20am and sneaked in to our bedroom. I said Good Morning and asked: Whose birthday is it today? Mine, he said with the biggest smile on his face. Daniel was stressed to get to work as Easter is coming up and that's one of the busiest holidays for the flower business. So there I was singing Happy Birthday all by my self for Kevin. But he's the best supporter I have so he wasn't holding his ears or anything. He actually looked like the proudest kid in the world. Then he opened the presents and was rushed to get to day-care as we'd bought ice-cream for all his friends at day-care.
In the evening his friends Alma, William, Matheus and Alvin came around with their parents for dinner and waffles. Our family was also there with always so fancy presents!
Thank you all for making Kevin’s birthday a day he'll remember!

Above is a photo which my dear friend Annelie, who's a photographer, has taken! Please visit her webpage for more information: http://www.anneliejohnsson.se/ She’s good!!

More fixing

As I said fam Berg is in fixing/renovating spirit! We could finally finalize our new floor today. And we were both eager to get the new furnitures in place to get the overall view of what our new entrance will look like. I'll give you a glance of what it will look like. But the whole picture will only be shown when curtains, flower and all othe details is in place.

Fixing weekend

This weekend went from being a fully booked weekend with allot of social activities to a recovering and fixing weekend. One lunch was cancelled because of sickness and one party was cancelled due to that Daniel got a bad cold and felt as if he had fever.

On Friday, when I get back from two days at a fair in Denmark with work, we started to assemble new furnitures from IKEA. It amazes me how good quality they have started to sell. It's no at all like the old unsteady shelf you use to get from IKEA.

On Saturday we got to sleep-in until 8am. I can't remember last time we slept until 8!!

Then it was time for the standard gym-session for kids between 2-5 years old which I'm an instructor for. Always lots of fun, running and laught!
In the mean-time Daniel got our new frame in place around the aquarium. What a difference, don't you think!

Klas

Grandma picked Kevin up from daycare early today to spend the afternoon with her. Best thing is when Klas gets home! Then nobody else matters. Klas is the funniest person to play with.

Grandfather

My dearest grandfather spent this Saturday at our house helping out with the forgotten room being renovated. It’s about to go from an extremely unorganized storage-/ garage- room to a light and functional entrance! Here you can see grandfather in action!
It was a wonderful Saturday so I spent most of the afternoon outdoor. Our whole family is dying for the spring to arrive with more sun and warmer temperatures.

New kind of pancakes

Our favourite dish was composed this Friday. Fish-pancakes, spinach sauce and potatoes. This is the by far best way to get Kevin and Daniel to eat fish. There’s allot of fish in the pancakes! But of course they haven’t been informed about this!

Sunday roast

Today we prepared a big Sunday roast for some friends that came around in the afternoon. It turned out to be quit a nice Swedish traditional old fashion Sunday-dinner and appreciated by everyone. It’s so much more fun to spend hours cooking when it’s for 10 people. The kids played together really well. Thanks to Fam Sassersson and Fam Adolfsson for a nice evening together. And thank you for the

I'm sure you can all see what we have here! Daniel as horse and Kevin as a vaulting star! Guess if I was proud when I saw this!!
