We spent an evening with Fam Adolfsson, who has a cute daughter Mira who inspires Kevin to everything that has to do with princesses and pink clothes and more.......
Here Mira asked her father Uffe to help Kevin put on some lip gloss. As you can see Kevin has paid attention to how to form your mouth when putting on lip gloss. :o)

Fire truck

There's a fire!! Emil took us for sightseeing in and with the fire truck around Kävlinge. What a dream for a boy who loooove big trucks!

Even if Kevin sometimes thinks he has become a really big boy, even he had to admit that he was tiny in the driver’s seat of this enormous truck!

Never a calm moment

Every 5 minutes I didn't have anything to do during my holiday I painted this furniture set white. It was dark brown almost black before. I was very happy with the result!

For a whole day we were lucky to have good friends around who were willing to help us with our huge job painting our carport. It was so much more fun doing it together with great friends. They stayed for bbq later that night - nice! Thanks Lina & Jakob for always being so helpful. Next time we catch up it'll be at your place fixing your basement.

Wednesday

Now when dad is back at work it's only me and mum at home during the days. Today was very relaxing. Tradition is that when I wake up I walk in to mum and dad and force one of them to put on Pippi Långstrump or McQueen on TV and go and make some gruel. This was the case this morning as well, but it was only mum at home so she got to serve me. We watched Pippi for a little longer then normal because we were both tired today. But then we went up and had breakfast and went out in the garden and fixed a few things. Today I was kind of grumpy and whatever we got up to everything went against me so after an hour or so I'd convinced mum that another movie on TV was what I needed. Mum never normally let me watch too much TV, but today she did! ;o) But it didn't take long before I fell asleep. I guess the cold I have is making me extra tired. While I slept, mum painted another side of the carport and the table we have on the wooden deck outside our kitchen. Then she made me pancakes which were just done when I woke up. She makes wonderful pancakes!!!!

In the afternoon we went to the swimmingpool and had a ball for the rest of the afternoon.

Trying to be romantic

Pernilla trying to be romantic one Thursday night with shrimps, garlic dip and white wine. But I think it was only I enjoying this. :o( At least I tried..... I better buy some beer and spicy sausages for Daniel next time.

Tuesday

Had a relaxing morning with mum until 11am when we drove to Lena and Hålan where I stayed while mum went to buy some paint for our carport and fence. When she got back we had coffee and sandwich. On our way back we stopped by grandma and Klas to look at some pots which they are going to through away if no one wants them. Mum chooses two pots. Just when we were about to go I got hold of the hose which luckily was on. I ruled the place for that half an hour I was holding the hose. I manage pretty well to get everybody wet! HiHi!
When we got home dad had got home from work. So I played with him while mum made dinner. After dinner we went outside. Mum started to paint the carport and I played with the girl next door who came by with her dad. We played until 9pm. Its such beautiful evenings when it's not raining that you don't want to go inside.

Monday

Dad is now back at work again after five weeks vacation. So it's just mum and me for another two weeks. After breakfast today we went to have coffee-milk with grandma and Klas. It's always fun at their place. I stayed there while mum went home and packed the car with rubbish from the garden that needed to go to the recycling station.
We enjoyed lunch with grandma and Klas before going back home. I fell asleep on the way home (even if it's just 5 min away). Mum carried my over to my pram where I slept for an hour. During this time mum painted the furniture’s we have on the wooden deck outside the kitchen. She just finished when I woke up. We stayed outside for the rest of the afternoon and did all sorts of things in the garden. I helped mum with everything. On the picture I'm studying a snail. Everything that crawls and lives in the garden is extremely interesting at the moment. I want mum to pat everything I find, but for some reason she’s not that keen on that! We cleaned this trellis, mowed half of the lawn and of course played on my swing-/slide-stand.
When dad got home we went to my friend Leo and his family for dinner. Our plan was to BBQ, but the sky completely opened up and it was poring with rain and there was no way we could be outside. We got some delicious hamburgers anyway and I had so much fun together with Leo!

Sushi

After a wonderful day at Lomma Beach with mum, Anna, Emil and my best friend Alma I tried sushi for the first time. I left the sushi to mum, but borrowed her sticks to eat my sausages and potatoes with. I think I did really well!! It's still only mum who enjoy sushi in our family. And with dad away paddling canoe in Lake Immeln with his mates mum took the chance to introduce her favourite food sushi to me. But it will take some more for me to start eating that shi.....

Baking

Preparing some breadrolls for tomorrow morning when Anna, Emil and Alma is coming to have breakfast with us.

Ölands Animal park

On our way home from Öland we stopped by at the big animal park there. It was a great day and we got to see allot of animals and got to ride some rollercoaster’s and swim in pools.

Öland

After some wonderful days in Västervik we drove to Öland to meet up with some other friends (Martin and Carolina) who have rented a cosy cottage just outside Köpingsvik. We got there on Sunday and left again on Wednesday. We got some beautiful days. Even if there were some dark clouds here and there we got mainly sun and spent many hours on the beach.

One day we drove up to Byxelkrok which we'd been recommended to visit. But we were there for 30 min and couldn't understand at all what there was to see. It was three houses, a tiny harbour and a beach full of stones. So this isn't a place we recommend to anyone! But it made us go across to the other coast to Böda Sand. What a place! What a beach!! It was the most tropical beach I've seen in a long time. And if you have kids, it's a paradise!!!! There are so many awesome playgrounds both on land and in the water. I'm glad I have Kevin so that it's more OK for me to climb, jump and run around on all these playgrounds.

Skånes Animal park

We really like Skånes Animal Park. You get to be outside all day, Kevin can run around, look at animals and swim in the pool.

Vacation!!

After my last day at work before 4 weeks vacation was spent with a bbq on the beach with Karin and Chrille. What a night! And what a way to quickly get into holiday mood!
